Of course, one could think that way, but I just want to connect them together for a concise storyline. There are other theories, like the ghost theory of "Dance the Night Away". I agree that you could think they are not connected. I even thought like that too while trying to connect the newer song's storyline, searching for lyrics, flowers, water, and background to find symbolism.
