Whenever Evangeline comes around John softens his facial expression, his stance it always seem to me that she makes all the men around her kinda melt in her presence. John might not have been having a good day but it don't matter whenever she comes around. This scene was magic, regardless of what they were saying, they had this sad regret.

Do you that in every scene when Eva is about to leave whether his office, home or any place for that matter, John always say "Hey" or "wait." He always detain her even if it's for a sec. He never wanted to ever leave and she never denied him. I love this couple.
I also love how it always happens that Hugh alway walks in when they are having a moment. And you know he knows he did cause he gets that cheezy smile on his face like "hmm their having an intense moment" love it!

Shoot, they brought J.T & Colleen back in Nikita so they can totally get on the ball with Evangeline & John. Bring them back please! What I always thought was interesting was when she called him her "friend" John looked like he didn't know what to say at that phrase for them. Because she was more then just a "friend" to him and it looked like it hurt him that she called him that. Whether he said anything or not you can tell John still harbors very strong feelings for her and she for him. Then when they both stated that they tried and she said, "I hope you found what you needed" he looked at her in amazement, opened his mouth slightly, and no words came out. I got the vibe of, "What are you talking about? No, I don't have what I was looking for because that was you all along. I just didn't realize how much I loved you at the time".

I have to agree. I don't watch the show, but I started watching the Crave clips a couple of years ago. This week I decided to look at other relationships on the show and stumbled on JoVan. I must say I love this couple and all of their scenes so much more than anything with Crave. If REG ever came back to OLTL I think I would have to add this to my list of shows.
He never loved Natalie half as much as he did Vang. OLTL had to kill her off so Jolie could happen. I dont care how much the Jolie fans thinks he did, and they fussed and fumed and got their way. But at the end of the day ME never put his heart into any scene with Natalie, even the last days of the show. When ME was with REG you could tell they enjoyed working together, and the depth that the characters felt.

Yes they were; I had a male friend of mine view Jovan, Crave and Jolie to tell me who was REAL and he said hands down that Jovan was the business! He said Jolie looked staged and that Crave was too stiff ~ the body language wasn't coming across right. He said with Jovan, it looked like they were a REAL couple with the way he caressed her, held her, KISSED her, grabbed the bootie like he OWNED her. He said Jovan was real; the rest were just bad connections.
After they broke them up... Michael Easton lost a lot of weight and aged quickly...it depressed him not working with her....We know it did, because after she left the show, and went to Broadway, he sit her a picture of himself by a fan...and told the fan to give her the of himself, and tell her he missed her, and want her to come back,!.......However, they were reunited in 2016....took a great photo together. l want them to work together again!
I Spy I noticed that to. He was never the same after she left and I did see the event where he sent her his picture. I saw the difference in his and saw the difference in his appearance also. She made him smile a lot when they were working together. ME was great when she was in the picture. It's sad that the produces couldn't see that. Now the show is off the air and he's leaving GH. What a waste of 2 great talents.

Oh I know! As I posted above, it seems like OLTL is just trying to put ME with ANYBODY and it's not working. His sensual/aggressive sexuality doesn't blend with just ANYBODY so they need to quit the BS and bring REG back! That's the only connection he truly had on OLTL; now on Port Charles, that was a different story...but ANYWAY, JoVan was it for true passion, romance, non-verbal love communication that just hasn't been seen between a couple on OLTL since TPTB broke up JoVan and that's a shame!

There are so many things that can/could be done and don't tell me you can't resurrect the dead. Anyway back to this scene...is it me or is this just the best. Oh I know! As I posted above, it seems like OLTL is just trying to put ME with ANYBODY and it's not working. His sensual/aggressive sexuality doesn't blend with just ANYBODY so they need to quit the BS and bring REG back! That's the only connection he truly had on OLTL; now on Port Charles, that was a different story...but ANYWAY, JoVan was it for true passion, romance, non-verbal love communication that just hasn't been seen between a couple on OLTL since TPTB broke up JoVan and that's a shame!

@1lightqt clearly your friend is astute! These two are superb actors and they have beyond the limit chemistry. As a writer, I would have set about clacking those keys for these two. There are so many things that can/could be done and don't tell me you can't resurrect the dead. Anyway back to this scene...is it me or is this just the best. Even now....the chemistry is off the wall and yet beautifully contained and it is still sexy.

I just started watching the videos of these 2 beautiful actors and I must say their chemistry is off the charts so much passion and romance even when they're not talking. Everyone wants to see these 2 people working together again. I have started writing a somewhat of a mystery drama but I would like some help. Can you give me some advice on how to go about it?

I believe it was about two years ago when I said on those message boards by that evil network that the end of JoVan was the end of the show. And I also said the show would be done by 2012. And was I right or what. Maybe the Mayans were on to something.

as a former jovan fan turned crave fan i must admit i never bought into the lie that john didn't love her. i think he did but maybe he realized it too late or waited too long to say it and he lost her. if nothing else he treated her with a lot more respect than bratty natty!
Gurl....that was a GOOD EXPLANATION!!ROFLOL!! I tried to watch OLTL today and the only saving grace of the whole show was Bo and Nora!!! I wanted to see John....but I guess today wasn't his regular day. The writing(except for Bo and Nora's part)was sooo over the top....LOL. I remember thinking...wake up Vangie!!

They both settled , Chris may have said what she wanted to hear but she never gave him her complete heart because she gave it to John. She even adopted his bad habits keeping her feelings to herself like @ the Women of the Year talking with her mother, when talking to Johns bro Mike told her to her face she was acting like John. Thats how Todd got between Chris and Evangeline just like Natalie got between her and John. Evangeline became John thats y in this clip she says she understands.

John still loved her, but from what Evangeline was telling him, he didn't want to spoil her " fake relationship" with Chris. Just watch John's body language as she is talking to him. I agree traciejay!!!OLTL writers and producers is trying to wipe away Jovan existence!!! Because Jolie,Marty, and Joblair was all fake and no passion or chemistry relationships!!!! Van was so important and John/Todd/Chris wanted a lasting relationship with her!!!!
@dlastqueen She doesn't get relaxers from what I've heard her say. She keeps her hair natural but blows it out obviously. She actually wanted to her hair curly like in he movie All About You but you know ABCD is scurred black folks being too black, so they wanted her to straighten it out. It' beautiful either way.

I agree...mostly. But needing to rescue someone isn't equivalent to being in love with them. I keep watching scenes of Nat & John to be fair, but I never see it. I cant deny that he also loved Nat, but she chased him & was very manipulative. That's not love; that's possessive & neediness.

I have to say, also, that OLTL did do a SMART MOVE in leaving the door open for a possible JoVan reunion; let's just hope they do that and not let this supercouple die. I've glanced at a few shows and see that John is wasting away on the show right now. I just hope he doesn't leave because of it AND I hope he ends up having a useful story line like he had early on with REG. That man has GREAT talent and if OLTL doesn't watch out, he'll be out the door and on some other soap getting ratings!

Well, thanks for the nice welcome! :-) I'm actually tempted to watch OLTL now. If they announce that RG's coming back I'll definitely start watching! Lol. If you don't mind me asking, did you stop watching OLTL because of storyline dissatisfaction? Don't you just LOVE what's happening on Y&R these days! I'm just praying that GH gets back to it's former glory. But that's enough rival soap talk from me, I want to respect the Jovan/OLTL chat.
Amen to that! JoVan were more in tune with each other; Crave was just a rebound situation for Vange just like Jolie was. Then OLTL tried Jarty and now Jolair??? I don't think so! ME and REG just flowed together; they played off of each other and it was seen directly in every scene they ever had. Even their first time was connected; Crave's first time was all about romance, yeah, but it seemed staged. REG looked frigid and DF was trying, I guess. Some connections click and ME/REG did, hands down!

Yes they did and NOW they're trying to put him with Blair! I watched that mess on Friday and even though Blair was trying to bring it, I still didn't see it. I guess once they "do the do" on Monday, I'll make my final decision. JoVan had it all ~ they connected on every level together and again, they looked REAL, not staged. Have you ever really watched the "making-love scene" with Crave? You could see FAKENESS written all over REG; she NEVER had that look with ME ~ NEVER!!!

After all these years I still can not stand the red mess and John is sickening still and Vangie is stupid but the writers made her such cause any other time Vangie the black queen that she is would have slapped the Hell out of John and told Nat on her way out that Christian is still alive and well in prison and John has known all along!!!!!
