You should adjust valve&injector and rack yup.Detroit diesel are rough and tough but must tune- up every 1000 or 2000 hrs best fall due start better in winter.You should test injectors same time.This type machine hard beat sad don't make anymore.thanks video again.😊
Change the fuel filters. And take the fuel line that comes from the tank and blow some air in to back wash something that may have built up in the line over the years.
I'm no mechanic, definately not trying to sound above my pay grade....I think you missing one of two things, either fuel or air? Did you do both fuel filters? Or it's possible mine is unique with 2...dunno? Maybe you have a hole in a fuel line or a connection that's vibrated loose and it's leaking fuel? Saying this because it idles fine, from what I can hear, but when jt needs more or power, seems to bog. Other side is oil bath, I assume the oil levels etc are ok? I picked up a filter for my blower, a screen that goes between the blower and motor, have not done it yet, but I got it based off of a video I seen where somone replaced one and the screen was full of small pieces of wood etc. I would think they would get taken out by the oil bath but it was allot of stuff in the screen that would have choked allot of air out.... the screen was like $20-30 us. Dunno, you forgot more about these things then I have ever known, but a couple of ideas to consider. The end of the video where your taking the trees out if the chokers, the idle sounds different as well, but it sounded fine when you were cutting?
