It's that time of year again, September, when all the normal places start to carry their spooky Halloween decor, so you know I've been doing a bit of shopping. Here's my little decor and home wares haul so far from Target, TJ Maxx and Homegoods. I haven't gotten anything from Michael's or Jo Ann craft stores, though I do plan on doing at least one more of these, so may see some more haunting decoration from those place in a future video!

Jo-Ann's has some great stuff this year. I bought 4 pieces of amazing wall art. 3 are in kind of an anatomical drawing style with a skull, a bat, and a raven and the last one is a gorgeous chalkboard-esque skull design. I was quite impressed. This was the first time I've ever into a Jo-Ann's and I have to say that I will definitely be scoping them out again.
Fascinating bone candles. I've never seen their like.

I Love these videos! Halloween is like MY own personal Christmas, so I tend to go a little overboard with my hauls, too! I found ‘Bleeding Bone Candles' on Amazon They drip bloody wax when lit. I think you NEED them🕯! Can't wait for the next Vid!
I totally noticed they had a lot of similarly stuff to last year too!! I got more skull plates and I got skull glasses made from recycled glass and an awesome black candelabra!!

Great haul! I wish we had a TJ Max where I live. The Marshmallow Fireside candle is my absolute favorite, I stick up every year. This year it seemed like the scent of them wasn't as strong as it usually is.
I love this video idea! I'm always on the hunt for spooky home decor! I found some good stuff at Marshall's recently. Also, if you have an At Home, they have really awesome, affordable Halloween stuff.

My boyfriend and I just moved in together and we bought some pumpkin mini lanterns! They were in the bargain bin at Target. Also grabbed some black lacy tin cups for my makeup brushes. I need more spooky home decor though. Maybe some spooky throw pillows or hand towels.

i didn't find much at target surprisingly. but i thought walmart did well this year with their halloween stuff.

If I went shopping for Halloween here in the UK, it's mainly sweets/candy, really shit masks, costumes, wigs, fake cobwebs with spiders, and face painting kits.. we aren't as big on Halloween over here, so it's pretty crap.. You'd think it would be the perfect time to find some awesome skulls n stuff, but nah! 😂 Although, the last 2 or so years it has been a "bigger deal" so the stuff is getting better, so there might be some cool stuff this year! Sara Monster Yeah hopefully! We've got some cool online stores like Sourpuss, and some Sourpuss items on there.. But this kind of stuff is expensive here.. either really expensive or its cheap tacky stuff 😂 Got a beautiful purple velvet skull moneybox a little while ago, that's a quality one, and it's gorgeous, think it was about $40, but it's life size and sits on my dressing table 😍 Thanks for replying lovely! ♥

I've been trying to shop for Halloween decorations too, but they are so rare to find and usually shitty in Europe >.< I only found black and acid green straws (which aren't even from the halloween collection, but the all-year one) and two glass skull sippy cups - those I bought instantly.

Loved your mini Halloween haul!!! I myself have had to tell myself no to a couple items already and it's not even October yet. I have already gotten some pretty awesome Halloween throw pillows, a black skull candle from the thrift store that is actually pretty good detail (black sparkles all over it too), and my first Autumn/Fall candle I got just today. Mine was from my grocery store called Krogers, I ended up getting a pumpkin butter cream scented candle instead of this marshmallow scented one, again, had to tell myself no on getting both. It's a off brand type of candle (not Bath and Body or Yankee) but it did end up smelling pretty yummy. Going tomorrow though to look for those bone candles, at Meijer they had those and ones that looked like witches legs. Let me know what you think of that Wet N' Wild black liquid lipstick, I also got the grey one as well. To me the grey ended up way more pigmented and went on better than the black liquid lipstick did. Tip, try to shake them very very well before attempting to put them on though. Going to retry the black and hope that it goes on better without needing Four coats. Maybe I just got a bad one. Can't wait to see what you have to say about it!!

Sarah I think you should go back for the grey colored lipstick as well. I love the names of those as well, Sleepy Hollow is the perfect fit for that color. Like I was saying though, just make sure to really shake the crap out of either those colors or any other from Wet N' Wild. I personally loved the color payoff and how pigmented it went on. Again, can't wait to hear your opinions and love your channel!!!

How do you clean out the candle jar? I find it so hard to get that much wax out of the jar. Do you just scrape it out and wash?
Lizzy Kennett Well in the past, I've had a lot of success with putting the candles in the freezer over night. That would usually help the wax break up and separate easily from the glass with just the twist of a butter knife. But recently I have been having a bit of a harder time with the B&BW candles, so when it's low, I burn it until all the wax is liquified, then put on oven mitts and pour the wax out. Then I find the remaining wax much easier to scrape and/or scrub out with dish soap! 🖤
Sara Monster OH that's an interesting technique! I'll have to try that with the freezer! I have a few lovely pots with candles in them that I want to re-use but I've not been sure how to get the wax out! I'll give both a try!
