You do need all that power my man. These guys are running 1.92 second runs now to be competitive you got to have at least a hundred 60 amp ESC and it has to be tunable
EARL....in my opinion I would definitely put the foams back in,,,,yeah it has great launches,,BUT you have a greater chance of possibly having some major damage in the process...just my thoughts,,,I’d hate to see you damage that great platform you put so much work into.....lots o luck..🇺🇸👈🚘
Earl I watched a review and "out the box" performance review amongst the dozens that I have been watching to get some more insight into the no prep side of the hobby, and I can't remember exactly who made the video, but he noticed when braking the car would spin out almost every time. He then noticed that when he applies the brake he was doing so intermittently every time. He then tried a run where he applied the brake in a single steady pattern and it wouldn't spin out and was way more controllable when stopping. Speculations are that when the brake is being applied intermittently that on the first hit the esc is applying the brake, but when released the second hit may be the esc actually going into reverse. Any thoughts?? If that were most likely the case do you think removing reverse throttle from the programming would allow the esc to recognize the reverse throttle as brake only, therefore making the vehicle more controllable when the brake is applied?
That’s what I thought so at slow speed I show both tapping the brakes and one motion and slow speed shows when rear wheel stop spinning it shots backwards every time 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I feel if you want the body a roller won’t make sense if you buy the body separately it’s like getting free electronics you can use for another build 👍👍💯💯💯🔧🔧

Im using the vorteks motor in my other losi basically took the motor and esc out the vorteks and it stops perfect and picked up low end and mile an hour
All this just to get brakes, not good for a RTR. Will the fan work OK on its side, I have had a couple of them that did not like being on it's side or upside down. Surely if you just put a Y lead on the lights you can just run the lights always on it will be fine then you can run the three channel receiver.
@@earlmoorhead5555 There are a few electronic switch's you can fit in line between the lights and receiver so you can turn them off from the transmitter and are so light in weight not to spoil handling a long enough lead to just double sided tape it to your steering servo, there are a couple that you can set up so you have brake lights also. Right now I am designing a parachute and servo release set up to test just to see if it is viable as an option to add to the brake side and mix it on your radio kit.
Tried getting Their number with no luck. Wish I could improve the body structure but they are beautiful camaro so just the same I bought the red and blue and put the reefs wheels on them.

Start out with the gearing that comes with the rc and adjust from there is best depending on traction 👍👍

Not yet the ExB was supposed to go fast together but ran into an issue so the bench has been full but soon the esc test is coming on the Losi 💯💯

Would a 130amp esc be a good upgrade just for the esc. Instead of the 100amp esc.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just change the esc to forward/brake no reverse.....
