As much as I'd like this motion to pass, it won't.
I doubt the purpose is for it to pass, so much as to publicly demonstrate for when an election does come about in a year, that while the Conservatives were clearly opposed to Trudeau and the Liberals, the other parties were complicit in supporting him through their coalition (for whatever their reasons may have been) so that if voters want a change, there is only really one option.
Let's be clear, no one is putting their pension at risk....
