I watched this video live, but just wanted to come back and say again how much i enjoyed this. My mind is still reeling at what is going on with the Valkyrie program. It has to be the most incredible car project ever under taken. And then to top it off the level of customization and personalization is beyond what my mind can imagine. Not that any normal person will ever get the chance to own one, just the fact that it exists and is being made is the stuff of dreams. I don't love the color combo that was shown on video, but it doesn't matter, its just incredible. My hope is this technology will trickle down to supercars that are at least somewhat attainable in the next decade or 2. Thanks so much for sharing this incredibly exclusive and jaw dropping content. Congrats again on your family! Having a child is so life and perspective change. Very happy for you!
I'd spec the whole exterior in that silver makume carbon, with the black and gold makume for the darker elements. I'd have a bronze badge and matching colour wheels, brake calipers, stitching, switchgear and harnesses. No track pack because the car would get driven on normal roads, but i'd get the elements of it to hang on the garage wall. The garage itself would be made of black makume carbon with a polarized guerrila glass roof. It would be builton a single pillar and be the shape of an egg. The car would come out of the garage on a titanium zipline to ensure it hits the ground above 60mph, a speed it would never be driven under, so not to accumulate negative karma. It would be detailed using the earwax of gerbils. At night the tormented spirit of my accountants would guard this precioussssss and not allow the autopaparazzi to defile its holy image with photography. I'd specc out a matching hybrid drone that would fly over it at all times, streaming to Mr JWW's channel whenever the car got driven, with a 10 second delay in case I binned it, in which case an in memoriam video would automatically play, with Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi as the soundtrack, showing a synopsis of the life of the car. If that happened a thermonuclear device at the garage would automatically go off levelling an area the size of watford. The ensuing martial law and international strife will be a fitting end point to the worlds greatest automotive masturbations. Hope this post helps anyone wishing to configure cars to 21st century standards.
You couldn't get the mokume CF on the exterior. You would need to make huge billets of CF and use a huge gantry CNC mill to machine the body panels. It would just be prohibitively expensive.

I must admit I didn't like the look of Valkyrie because of that ugly grey in which is was presented, didn't do it justice, but in other variations that I've seen here it is stunning, this video completely changed my mind, can't wait to see the videos of them on the road, it will be a head turner of highest order!
Aleksandar Gospić I myself can’t even call that gray spec ugly. Even that looks nice.
@@samgoode5644 it misses some highlights, i don't like it cause it is just plain grey all over, with orange highlights for example it would be much better for me, but of course, some like it that way too
Aleksandar Gospić not saying it is my favorite but if I was offered one I would take it in that color or worse. I do agree with you though
@@samgoode5644 in that case i wouldn't mind either 😅 but I'm blown away how this car can be specced, probably at the time of initial presentation they didn't have that ready, but that certainly removed part of the visual wow effect
I like the idea of combining some of the track pack with the nose lift which is a must. Hope you can still have the slats behind the front wheels
Unbelievable. This is unseen. Give that man a big hug from the MRJWW family please!
This channel is a gem and should be preserved for future generations.
When is the latest update to the spec? This is seriously AMAZING
12:18 his reaction though. 🙏😂😂
amazing.
James, I have been seeing your videos since 2 years, and it can clearly be seen that your hard-work and determination has paid off. Keep creating such awesome content, yet so informative, making RUclips worth watching!
I can’t wait for project 003 👍
Unbelievable mate! Congratulations for the opportunity
Im so staying up for this, I blame you James if I fall asleep at uni tomorrow!
dude! Its not even the first time i have done this. I literally make it a point to watch his videos within minutes of it going online! :P
@@varunthandy8467 ha yup

You know you’re doing something right as a content creator when pretty much every single one of the comments are of people thanking you. This entire experience is incredible and I truly can’t wait to see the final result.
Those honeycomb wheels with bronze accents are very reminiscent of 70's Pontiac trans am... aka smokey and the bandit. As you said, the way forward is backward...
You're so right! Love it.
BLASPHEMY!! .............OK you're right, they look like they've been influenced a bit by the Bandits wheels.
Not sure about those wheels myself. The lightweight ones are more like it.
Thanks man ! What an experience even for the viewers !
Without a doubt my favourite car-tuber. Unbelievable access to this incredible car. Some amazing cars in this modern era (Speedtail, AMG One Etc) but The Valkyrie is the most extraordinary and that engine will be pure sex!

James you're actually just on a whole new level. This is insane! Very exciting! Always such amazing content, and you keep raising the bar!
Also does anyone know what software they're using for configuration?
Should have gone British Race Green
MJShokunin no its boring
@@dodoontherocks Don't be so quick to judge. That blue is gonna look absolutely stunning.

Coming soon, thats what we all thought. Atleast its going to be at the end of the year now when they start to deliver customer cars.

How can this channel get any better? I don't know but each video James makes it happen. Bonkers!

Good day Mr. JWW, I just wanted to say congratulations on all the success you have had with your automotive content. I have been watching from an early onset, and it is amazing to see how far you have enhanced your abilities and content. Best of luck in the future! Furthermore, I would say a purple (carbon fiber or normal) specification with certain gold accents could be something to explore.
It is one of the greatest vedios from you sir.... It's absolutely lit🔥🔥, also you don't care from the launch of supercars like other RUclipsr.. 🔥😘🔥
Im blown away by your professionalism in the face of such a ridiculous opportunity. I honestly don't know how you aren't running around like a kid. Kudos to you! Keep making amazing videos and taking all of us along for the ride!
Don't go for black..... Seems so standard. That dark deep blue would be so much better
That’s what I did choose 😂👍🏻
@@MrJWW blue with gold / bronze body highlights. Similar to the track pack render where it shows yellow accent lines (24mins).
Wish I had that render package so we could send our ideas for fun as I imagine it's almost a done deal 😊
@Von_Nightmare_ Luciferian don't know if you remember the motor show 720s release special addition where it was a bright purple/red fadinding to almost dark purple almost black.
I'd love to see that on this car
Gonna get dirty
I can't thank you enough for this video James. For an Aston Martin nut like me this was an absolute joy to watch. I could spend years on such a configurator without getting bored. What an experience.
The track pack looks better and performs better on track but is useability on the street more important ?
It is not street legal. Either way this car is more of a track car for the road rather than a road car for the track so I don't think the ride quality is good on any spec
@@ricerexpress426 It's not the AMR PRO. The video showed street legal tires for 20 inch and 21 inch wheels for the track pack, not 18 inch wheels and full slicks. Where can I find your information?
Sorry I thought you were talking about the amr pro. My bad
The track pack is actually also road illegal
@@ricerexpress426 well what do I know, I just read Evo magazine article that says the track pack is illegal on public roads, but the illegal parts are interchangeable with the legal for public road parts, so both of us were correct/incorrect. I would guess it's only a question of money if the Evo article is correct. The article doesn't explain why the track pack is not legal for public road use(I can't determine it's legallity looking at the pictures?), mabye Aston Martin didn't what to pass on the expense of legalizing them to the customer?
Just rewatched this fascinating video again almost a year from you first releasing the content. One of the best YT vids ever. This car is extreme but as an AM fan I find it so consuming. Well done again James. Happy New Year to you. Here’s to a great 2020 for your channel and your business.
It’s one step away from looking like the Adam West 60’s Batmobile!
I had the privelege of being in that same room this week and sitting in the Valkyrie. Utterly mindblowing. I cant wait to see your finished car.
I'm barely in, but I hope you spec the crushed carbon I saw at 3:26. ;) Edit: They show a close up if I just had some patience.
bought my first AM at 31, my dream car. this is making me love the brand even more. the valkyrie will bring value back this beautiful company.
It's by far the McLaren f1 of the 2000's
It‘s possible. Will see when it hits the roads
I know this car will beat all the records no way it can't
@@TheRagingStorm98 lol seriously??
Your best video yet, Sir.
I’m going to watch it again now.
What a car!
This video will go down in history as will this car. My favorite company and my favorite entertainer. 👏🏽
James...words won't do this justice, but I'll try. This isn't on a whole new level, this IS a whole new level. The car, even calling it that seems like an insult, your humble demeanour, unique personality and one-off experience access for us makes this one of the greatest videos you've ever done, and outdoes most fellow RUclipsrs by light years. Thank you, sincerely, thank you.
Lamborghini - Makes Forged Carbon that looks like me nan's kitchen counter top
Aston Martin - Makes Mokume Carbon that mimics glorious nippon steel folded thousand times over :D
Yeah the Lambo stuff really looks like somebody just chopped up some carbon and dropped it in resin. This stuff from Aston while still random seems to display a much higher stage of intent and as a result is just stunning.
What car looks better the Aston Martin Valkyrie or the Lamborghini Terzo Millennio
Those pieces belong on display in a museum! The car is just breathtaking!! Congratulations for this. You truly deserve it.
The greatest thing they are doing is if you flip one for a profit then you are blacklisted from ever getting an Aston Martin Hyper Car ever again
Wtf
@mistic mind yeah, that is great. I think I misunderstood his comment, because James isn't getting one. But that wasn't his point.
It is great to see manufacturers don't like flippers, and they have every right to deny selling those cars to flippers.
So Salomondrin can’t burn one of these down?
@@mattyarnall4902 well, he did buy the Senna through another customer of McLaren, so he could get it through a customer of Aston Martin.
Also, he is denying everything on his RUclips channel in a very childish way, while it is really clear that is stupid to do for him.
That’s exactly what I’m saying
Video is more along the lines of a documentary. Excellent.
Yes is for a friend..
Well what a refreshing "ride along" this was... someone has you spec a car of this nature "for them" speaks volumes for who you must be as a person and presenter.. congrats, subscribed..
Wanted to see full exposed red carbon so bad ._.
JWW, great video! Thank you for taking us along for the journey. Small thought, would it not be nice to have the roof-scoop stand-out a bit in one or other way? Maybe a more mat dark bronzy color to follow with the theme of the car?
Ok I know obviously the NRE cost will be not 2.5 million.. But I do see more than 2.5 million in this beauty of mechanical excellence. ❤️
i think you have specced it perfectly, the gold/bronze color with the dark blue, lovely
All the flippers out there are gonna have a hard time selling these on when the interior is _tailored_ to the purchasers body... good work Aston! :D
GOOD POINT, HOWEVER CARS THAT EXPENSIVE RARELY GETS FLIPPED FOR MUCH MORE THAN MSRP. LOOK AT THE CHIRONS, THEY ARE SITTING AT ALMOST MSRP. LA FERRARI APERTA DON'T SELL FOR THEIR FLIPPING PRICE EITHER. THE FLIPPING ERA IS SLOWLY DYING.
Just like houses the more bespoke the smaller the audience is for resale. Plus the clients probably sign an agreement not to sell for atleast two years
I've linked this video in a comment on Top Gear's latest Valkyrie speccing video. Hope you don't mind. Brilliant work!!! Can't wait to see the final spec and the car of course!
It's basically a consumer-level LMP car, as oxymoronic as that sounds. What a piece of art.
Mind blowing spectrum of specs!!!
Im gonna ask James to spec my civic in the future. Ok James?
Yes Yes Yes, Need more of this in my life! what a fantastic place and the ability to spec the cars. Thanks for sharing this super special experience! WOW
