How to control Rice blast?

I am currently doing my thesis outline proposal about "modified field screening of rice blast (Magnaporthe oryzae) of selected Philippine cold tolerant and differential varieties" and it is difficult to relate this study on agroforestry system..so How can I relate rice blast diseases, cold tolerant varieties and differential varieties in an agroforestry system?

Use tricyclazole 75% wp 120 gm per acer 150 to 200 litres water or Isoprothiolane 40% EC
300 ml per acer in 200 liter water
