And btw rupam, why would jerry not be weak. She is not taking enough rest. Whether its day nor night whenever baby sleeps, she should also sleep. Atleast you should encourage her to sleep. In the name of tradition, you torture her by not letting her sleep even if she is so sleepy. Am angry becos am so concern for jerry. No where in my tribal culture iv heard that mother cannot sleep in the day. Sleep is the most important treatment for a mother to recover fully after delivery.

@kuri, your love for the baby aside, you need to stop rocking and shaking baby while holding him. His brain is not yet fully developed. The brain is floating in the fluid. When you shake, the brain moves and hits on its wall, whereby he will feel dizzy and there’s a chances he will have concussion which will cause to epileptic seizure when he grows up. it’s skull too is not yet joined. The head is still soft. On the other hand, when you keep rocking the baby, he will be so used to it that he will not sleep when you place him on bed.
