Ok, If I could produce a post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie, I'd pay gold to have this recording superimposed on a duo of old android singers from a space tavern
I've never heard a cover as amazing as this before. I also listen to jazz a lot, but your work really conveys love and it's truly fantastic! Looking forward to more of your creations😭
Hell yea this is awesome! You are literally the best Natalie tuner around!! If you're open to song suggestions maybe another duet with "Summertime"? Or maybe Natalie singing "blue velvet"? Awesome work again!
Thank youuu! I think ill take a break on duets for a bit but i think blue velvet with (my highly edited version of) kevin and with Natalie or Solaria as backup singers would be amazing!
@@mikado5465 Summertime is my favorite Gershwin tune.😍 Specifically, Nora Jones rendition of it. I would like to see this without a duet in the style of Nora Jones.
jazz is my favorite genre and Ella Fitzgerald is my (second, lol) favorite singer ever and Louis Armstrong is also a huge fave and this cover more than does them justice!!!! awesome!!!!
I would love to make a toutorial on how to make synth v voices sound expressionful but my channel is very small right now and it wouldn't really see the light of day anytime soon but in the future, deffinetley! If you are talking about general information on the software and this is your first time hearing about vocal synths and synth v specifically, then I recommend going to dreamtonics official youtube channel where they have demo songs for their vocals and tutorials for beginner users.
The California Lottery theme! You've got great control of Natalie I like Asterian better on this than Nearness, the range is a bit higher and the phrasing is clearer.. Ella and Louis - sorta.😎
Thank you so much! Yes Iv’e accidentally forgot to move one parameter in post production (key shift) and his voice had much more engine noise but i just couldn’t figure out whats wrong at the time.
Ive been loving your covers! I'm not a big fan of most voicesynth songs so your channel is a goldmine for me. Where do you usually find the instrumental for these songs or do you make them yourself? I've been having a lot of trouble trying to make cover of older songs because i could not find instrumental for them.
Been facing the same problem so i found out about this website vocalremover.org where you basically put in the song .wav, .mp3 or whatever audio format basically and it makes 2 stems out of it: the isolated vocals and the instrumental. Its really useful but choose what song you would like to cover wisely because you can only split one song a day
@@mikado5465 Huh I’ve been able to split multiple audio files within a day with that website, though it doesn’t always cut sounds cleanly especially when there’s background choirs or special occasion like dang Jerry Lewis’s duck voice. Though I guess it’s the best option we got xd. Also what effect did you use to make their voice sound so genuine with the music? (Sorry I don’t really know the proper term for things) like reverb n those sort of things?
@@eirinthemedicgf3962 yeah the website works like that for like a month or week (i don’t remember) and then you can just use it once a day (per ip adress); Funny enough this song had no vocal modifications on it, if anything maybe the EVER SO slightest bit of reverb on it but i clearly remember it going straight from synthv onto here on youtube. It’s obviously different with other genres like pop, hip hop or rock (currently working on a cover of “movements align” with Natalie and a bunch of other voices as harmonies and i have sooo many voice effects its insane) but in a song as old as this + this being slow jazz no modifications ware needed. If you want further tips don’t hesitate reaching out to me over discord :) (it’s in my “about”)
I might cover it in the future sometime but i doubt it (even though I really enjoy the song) because the song is really repetitive (you could basically write the lyrics in a few seconds without the repetition) and the vocals would sound static and robotic with the dual voices being in the song but if enough people request this song I’ll definitely give it a go!
Hey, Is it better to enter the notes using a midi controller? Do you need any adjustment in the software for the notes to be recorded more accurately? Thanks.
I can’t answer that question accurately because I personality do not own a midi controller but if I had to guess: it depends on the goal or genre. If you wish to make a pop song then definitely yes, all the notes snap accurately on the timeline and no adjustments are needed but if you’re going for a jazz song u can notice the singers aren’t always “on beat” with the bpm because of the singing style used in jazz so there must be minor adjustments on the note length.
I'm hooked on your jazz covers now. They're majestic. You do Ella so well! And that Louis growl on Asterian is gold.
No way i was literally listening to this song on repeat earlier today
Youre absolutely amazing. This sounds so fucking good
@@funnyfranz hahaha what a coincidence! Im glad you enjoyed it! Feel free to give me any song suggestions u might like to hear me cover

Man thats such a nostalgia since my dad plays that song. Can you do synthv sing the chain by fleetwood mac?
