    Little plastic pegs make great clamps for small areas. The pegs normally get used for hanging Xmas cards.

    Hi my friend i am George from Greece and also huge fan from star trek that inspired and shaped my whole life from 1969 i saw the first episode until now 2022.For me all those years my...holly grail of all times was tos phaser type2 and the year 2004 i got this plastik phaser very exited but also sort of disappointed because of not so occurred as i expected.Finally i was ...crazy happy when i got this more occurred 250 euros Wand Company TOS Phaser Universal Remote.When i got the phaser in my hand i sad...now i can die in peace haha!!!i strongly recommend to by it its perfect believe me!!!Any way about the plastik phaser you made a perfect job...live long and prosper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Nice work, on a foggy night its as good as on the original series! I used a Russian military research modulated phase laser (phaser) and ....well....I wrote my name on Mare Umbrium on the moon....couldn’t resist it 😉

      Check out jons channel. He has amazing stuff, its where I got all the parts. I think he sells entire phasers, or can make one.

    Tricoder, saw 1982 at Lorence Livermore labs, it was medical and corded at the time and did everything. That was 41 years ago, who knows what they have now

    Excellent video, if you used a GREEN laser (different wavelength) you will see the laser light during the day and even better when it's dark.

    I know this vid is quite old now, but I wonder if you can help me.
    I want to disassemble my Art Asylum P1 phaser, but it just doesn’t want to come apart.
    I’ve removed the battery cover and undone the two philips screws on the underside, but the top and base don’t want to separate.
    can you give me any tips?

    Did you have to cut a slot out of the p1 for the side rails? The two halves wouldn’t be flush without it I’m thinking?

      The fins on the P1? I used some epoxy or super glue, I can't remember which. Probably epoxy. :)

      @@3DPrintedProps, no. I think the AA/DST phaser uses 3 screws to hold P2 together...1 in the handle, 1 under the fins, and 1 on the left side over the selector. It seems like you’re only using the screw under the fins now. Did you glue the left and right halves of P2 together? Thanks

    The watch jewel is too far forward on the Type 1 Phaser. Stills from the show indicate it is centered between the dial and readout, both front and back and side to side axis.

    Unless I missed it you never listed the drill bit sizes. on the video it looks like 1/8", 1/4" and 5/16" is that right?

      3D Printed Props : I found the exact batteries you used by pausing your video @21:31 and noting what was written upside down. I found them on eBay yesterday. Awaiting the batteries (last part) so I can start building my laser phaser.

      3D Printed Props : Yes indeed. I purchased the metal “Hero” kit, same laser, batteries, etc.
      I have a question. Why did you remove the board for the laser and wrap it in a heat sink? I thought the copper housing dissipates the heat.

    Do you sell them? My diamond select phaser never worked so I sent it back. They sent me a new one. I paid 75 bucks for the phaser and 65 for the communicator.

    I have a Phaser from diamond select toys and went to engage the site wheel and the Phaser 1 stopped working. I took it apart and noticed that the red power wire that goes from the power board to the battery board was cut. They put the wire under the sitting roller. Can I send it to you to fix. If so I will pay you it just needs a new wire to be sodered to the battery board and power board. Douglas Spende. I cant do it hands and fingers are to big. Thank You I watch your tube videos all the time.

    Is this the original series phaser?

      Yeah, the Art Asylum toy phaser is based on the original series model and the metal parts are based on ones taken from the hero prop.

    Just about choked when you said it wasn't really that expensive! $40 is like 80 meals for some of us. So no, I don't know if I want to risk damaging the one I have.
    If $40 is really that insignificant to you, you could always send me one, and I would work on upgrading that one. I would not mind one bit if you wanted to do that. ;-)
