I'm 12 right now, I've watched k-pop idols in order to check how they behave around camera, their diets, their workout plans as well. I'm planning to audition around when I'm around 14 or 13. It's my dream to be an idol, I have been practicing my singing skills everyday and I hope it gets better within these years so that I can audition. I'm planning to tell my best friends because I will need a little support along the way, my parents might not be supportive on this career because getting these opportunities are hard especially to say a singer. Starting steps u should do from young:
1. Visual
U need this. So it is best for u to take skincare and whatever care
2. Practice
U need to practice, practice makes perfect. Cmon u need to be able to dance well, better than others, no, be the best!
And practice your singing too

I’m 12 and I’ve I always had this passion to sing. I took an audition for JYP A2K I don’t know if I passed but this time I will try even harder than before I will lose weight. I will do better in my band class because I haven’t had time to practice lately because of break. Try telling them first and list them some ideas of why and what you'll do if they would let you to become a k star. Like I will study hard and get more good grades, i'll do some chores for you (unless you do chores), i'll work harder doing my flute, and etc.

i finally had the courage to tell my parents that i didnt want to do flute anymore and they were fine with it and my flute teacher too! but i still couldnt find a way to tell them about my dream…
and because of that and many other reasons ive been really stressed lately so im really lost in my thoughts all the time and my parents are getting worried i think
but im really scared to tell my parents because i still live with them and if they dont want me to be an idol id be too sad or embarrassed (idk) to even like look at them and they probably dont think its a good idea..
and like i probably said the the comment, my sister is like really against kpop and stuff, we are koreans but we lived our whole life kinda like only learning the american culture and stuff so we’ve been kinda hating korean cultures and stuff. but one day i really found kpop songs and idols really nice but i still haven’t figured out a way to tell my sister either.
lately ive also been crying every night at 2am always thinking why ive become like this, why couldnt i have just stuck with american culture and pop, why did i have to choose THIS path in life..

You can't be good at everything you know. That's more than enough, so now you just need to improve what you already have and be unique
I am 12 years old as of now and I have been practicing dancing and singing for months. I have also been learning Korean for nearly 4 months. Not to mention I have a good personality. I want to practice til’ I’m 13 (one year) then I want to take it one step further and do a private audition for a small company so I can get practice in before going onto bigger companies like HYBE or YG Entertainment. I also listen to NewJeans, BTS, Blackpink, Stray Kids, Seventeen, and Aespa so I can see their mistakes in dancing so I can improve my dancing. I really hope I get to become a K-pop Idol because I’m not just saying it, I’m already practicing day by day and I’m only 74 lbs. Most female K-pop idols need to be 90-100 lbs only.
You know what Idc what my mom says being a K-pop idol is my dream and girl you can take an online audition so your mom doesn’t tuned out I hope one day she will see and be proud follow your dreams

im currently 12 and my skill is singing but the chances of me landing an audition is like 0.5% since one i dont have the visuals and two only 2 people from my country are k pop idols and it might be hard. i started singing on an app called starmaker and i got a pretty good amount of followers and im also learning korean too. and aside from the vocal my visuals r rlly bad im a bit obese and not coz of eating its in my genetics and its very hard to loose some weight. hopefully in the future i can become a soloist or like a solo artist kinda like ariana or taylor swift :D

Most of the entertainments , including YG....they mostly select trainees who are 12-18, give it a try. U can 👍🏼

I’d say, continue to do monthly auditions. Try and get feedback. Try not to stress out too much. This should be something that makes you happy, so try to think of the positives

I'm trying to audition in HYBE or JYPE when im 13-14 , my speciality is Dancing and i'm good at freestyle dancing , but i'm also an average singer and a great rapper . Though when i audition i will be sure to learn one to three dance. Thanks for the tips! ( Btw i practiced all of my dancing , singing , rapping all by myself. Listening to kpop songs also helps me! )
P:S - I would be very happy to be an idol , so i'm starting to do some skincare and i fit the kbs ( though i'm still doing face excercise's to fit more. I'm a boy actually. ) i just need to practice my speciality ( in talent ) and need to boost up my confidence.
