Today we are reviewing a watch from Baltany, a brand that does a lot of old military homages, with this one being the most original I have seen. In the world of Submariner homages an homage of a Roolex Oyster from 1926 is a true refreshment!
The watch is spectacular in person and despite having things i USUALLY don't like, like all polished case and gold plated details, on this piece it just somehow works!
The watch is incredibly thin, especially considering it is an automatic, powered by a chinese Sea-Gull movement and comes with a highly domed sapphire crystal, and one of the most comfortable leather straps I have tried.
With a ridicilously low price, it is a no-brainer if you like the styling, and I have to admit I love it!

The Rolex was not the first waterproof watch. Just like it wasn't the first watch to the summit of Everest.
And Rolex lives off of homages to the Fifty Fathoms and the Speedmaster but people still Lust after them so they can show off to none watch enthusiasts.
I bought one and changed the strap for rubber. It became my most loved diving watch in my collection. Beautiful.

Baltany does a very good job overall in retro or homages. I enjoy wearing their S5033 military chrono.
It’s smaller than I realised. But it is absolutely beautiful
I really like polished case and this is very thin for a mechanical watch 🤩 this one would fit pretty much any fancy occasion perfectly!

Bulova in recent years released a model under Accutron II line called "Surveyor". Same shape that attracted me a lot, especially with that super-smooth beat of their precisionist movement.
However, that piece broke my one rule - battery that needs replacement often.
This Baltany version des not, so once again, I have to thank WG for exposing us to these wonderfull and "off the beaten path" brands.

Very nice except that sporty leather strap does not suite the style of watch, I would love to see it on a lizard skin strap. I recently bought the Baltany bubbleback and really like the build quality.
