Thank you for this video. I am struggling with depression and on the spiritual path at the same time. Every time I have uncomfortable feelings or thoughts I want to veer off the path. This video does not only explain a lot of things but I truly believe what it says. If I can remind myself of this when I go through my dark times, it will help me immensely. @ManifestMystique it's my wording, but I can't take credit. I asked God to show me the truth of things one day, and I heard, "meditate. " that was just before covid.
Then I received a link to Earl nightingale and his strangest secret in the world, and Neville Goddard's feeling is the secret. I'd never heard of any of this stuff before.
I saw what scripture says, and I believed it.
Neville says to sit in the silence. John calls it sitting in the spirit.
He couldn't tell us if he was in his body or out of it.. then he received revelation.
So, I sat. And I listened to my brain rattling off anything for attention.
So, I said, "be still. Be quiet. I am in control now. "
And after a few times, it did. That was the beginning. My meditations were active from the beginning. The instructions are within scripture. The epinoia is a Jewish term for the light God left within us just hoping we would seek him within and find.
A toroid does kinda look like a flower from the front.
It's so hard to maintain Present Moment Awareness when the Spell of Matter: the passionate emphasis on Materiality via sensory input, keeps dragging us back into the illusion of physical separation and false identity. Matter castes a hypnotic and mesmeric spell on us via our five senses and we keep falling and loosing that subtle thread of Present Moment Awareness . This Fall from Grace happens innumerable times within a day. We live in a society where subconscious patterns of behaviour constantly beckons us. Self-remembering is a simple matter (no pun intended) but very hard to sustain. Human kind's connection to Awareness flickers like a bad radio reception. It's not the Matter you can see that Matters but what is around the Matter that really matters: a Perceptual Shift is required, which requires Deliberation and Will to sustain.

You're definitely onto something deep here. The Spirit is pure energy, guiding us beyond the physical, while the soul often gets tangled in the material world, dealing with our human experiences. But maybe the soul's journey is what helps us learn and grow in this physical realm. Thought-provoking stuff!
When you get religious you are on shaky ground that is always without any reasoning ( reasoning is what God the Father used when He/She/It created the template for the Universe and Lofe itself). I would advise that you seek your own personal relationship with God instead of taking the words of some human middlemen. This way YOU can get the TRUTH right from the Horse's mouth.
Even Jesus said " Woe unto ye Pharisees. You are supposed to lead the people to God". They didn't then and they don't now. As in days gone by, most church leaders are only interested in their own position and status. Sad! It tells us how to find God personally in the bible - "with ALL of your heart, mind, soul, and strength".
