It goes really well with the visuals of the OP too (but some spoilers so you might wanna refrain from watching befirehand). 1:30 - 1:54 This segment of the reaction was amazing! xD (Lol you posted the warning comment already) Yeah, Powder is not as physically gifted as Vi, but she has a brilliant mind. Everyone has their talents. It’s not right to judge someone’s capabilities too early, especially true for children. Great reaction as usual. All of the appreciation for the music and cinematography and voice acting is duly deserved. Hopefully they do S2 justice too!
As I understand it, the reason the guy at the end was angry is because the blond kid actually defied orders to fight Vi. He was supposed to just follow her and never let her know she was being tailed, but the kid got greedy and went after her stash, and now Vander's been tipped off that somebody is working against him in secret
The sound effects team alone won several awards from this show, let alone the writing and animations and whatnot There's actually a really good behind the scenes documentary series about the making of this first season, which has a whole section dedicated to just the sound design
that iconic woman voice is Shohreh Aghdashloo, she was in a lot of voice and screen acting like star trek, and my favorite as Chrisjen Avasarala in Expanse

idk if you will see this man but holy i am so happy you haven't seen arcane before and we get your reaction. Arcane is one of the few shows I call a masterpiece. Arcane, Vinland Saga, and Made in Abyss are my top 3 animations of all time. I will say idk how your watching them but I highly suggest watching 3 episodes at a time. The series released as three parts on Netflix basically three incredible story arcs. You can take your time editing of course but viewing for yourself def watch 3 at a time. Hope you really enjoy Arcane, season 2 will be out here very soon!
The "goblin" (which is a "yordle", you'll have an exemple of another famous one in the next episode, heimerdinger) and the black-eyed woman" are simply different race present in the world of runeterra, Piltover and it's underground is only a small fraction where there is little to no magic or other creatures but they do exist in other regions of this diverse world. It's pretty well introduced in Arcane. Also the third season will most probably take place in another region of runeterra. It would be funny if you tried guessing which character you encounter are actual characters in the game league of legends.
I don't really consider Arcane to be an "anime". It's a Western animated show by Riot Games (gaming company) and animated by a French animation studio called Fortiche

just for reference, arcane and league of legends is pretty firmly planted in the fantasy genre, despite this episode giving a dystopian sci-fi vibe.
