It has the potential to be abandoned, this amount of "bugs" will be unsolvable for them in the long run if they just add more and more things which don't work. They should work on one thing, make it work, then work on another thing, and ONLY THEN release a demo for people to play. Not this crap with animals flying around, killing you instantly and flashing UI.

Just look at the end of the video and see how he died, is it a game or a joke... I think the second one. I'm a game developer myself and I know what I'm talking about. the race to see who gets the most realistic and most fun animal game is crazy. AHAHAH SOOO many hoping to find that magic feature that makes them skyrocket passed the others.
I tried this game and it was awesome.... only thing that i had issues with was when the mom was walking me to water and the mass amount of animals made my game freeze every time
@@nataliaandalex1368 Don't fall for this "still in development", look at other indie games outside of the animal survival genre, and you will see how the proper game demo should work. It never has this amount of bugs, and it should be at least somewhat playable. The game demo means a trial, sliced version, and not just some animal assets flying around you (it doesn't even have the base AI working and it is a single player game, focusing MAINLY on AI). As a game dev, I'm actually amazed how they managed to get so many things not working and already releasing it. I'm not hating on any of you, I just don't want you to get scammed. Because now they can give you some animal models bought on some asset store and you will probably pay to "support the game".

The demo is unplayable, and don't tell me that it's "an early access" or something because it is not how the released demo should look like. I'm a game dev and even in indie studios with like 2-5 people working on the game, you just don't give people an unplayable game to play. These are not just "some bugs", there is not even a proper gameplay. The animals are flying around you while you attack them, you get one shot killed while you deal like 0 damage to them, the lion is bugged and can't even turn around to fight, as you said their names are sometimes messed up, whole UI is flashing - these are things that should just work from the start. It seems like the code base is so messed up, that the project will be just abandoned, because such "bugs" don't happen without a reason. If they make let's say a meercat AI, they should test it and make it work properly first, and not just throw everything at once without even seeing if it works. I'm not even talking about a real testing, just build the game and see if it behaves as intended, that's all. Can't you guys see it? But to be clear - I have nothing against you, I liked the video. Just open your eyes people, please. We will never get a good animal survival game when you have such low standards.
The hunted is an animal survival game in the works and its one that makes me have hope again for a good animal survival game. They have a great discord with video updates, models, maps ai and game testing but i agree with u on animalia so much potential but it feels like the devs and such didnt care as much with the game

Oh my god it's almost like it's... Early access🤯 It's a pre alpha release, it's not meant to be smooth... That's part of the process. Its not made to be enjoyable yet, by playing it you are agreeing to be a tester. It's not expected to run smoothly. It's a _test_ demo not a full blown teaser demo, chill out man. At least they aren't making anyone pay for it, unlike a lot of other "early access" animal survival games.
