- Alec Marsh took the mound looking to lead the Royals to a second straight win over the Guardians and twirled another solid start, striking out 5 over 6.0 innings allowing just 1 run. Trailing by a run in the 2nd inning, Salvador Perez and Hunter Renfroe clubbed back-to-back home runs to put the Royals on top. The runs kept coming with the Royals scoring in each of the next three innings, including a Kyle Isbel home run. Vinnie Pasquantino belted the fourth homer of the night in the 8th inning to put the Royals in double digits for the game and secure a fourth win in the last five games.

It is nice seeing the offense bounce back from their slump. Hopefully they can keep it up. Go Royals.
Wow, finally finally great to see the Royals getting some runs and get the bats rolling against one of the best teams in American League. I hope we can see a resurgence of runs and get the bats going and continue the momentum. The starting pitching has been pretty solid overall this season and they have deserved a better fate lately sometimes. Keep it going Royals!

John Schurholz (sp?) built a dominant team here in KC less than 10 years after the team came into existence. Then left & went to Atlanta and did it again there. The man knew/knows how to build a consistent winner.
Scheurholz became the Royals GM in 1982. It was Cedric Tallis, also honored yesterday, who put together the first Royals contender in 1973.

Gotta keep going. Cole is pitching today and Seth tomorrow. Most of June has been bad so these last two wins are great. If the boys can get a sweep, every team in the AL needs to watch TF out in the playoffs.

This pitching rotation is too good to go through any prolonged bad stretches. They’ll be in the playoffs.
We've been having road games issues. Not a good look if we even hope to have a chance to contend
The issue that has fans concerned is they are 6 games below .500 on the road, ( they are a ridiculous 15 games above .500 at home). Have a winning road record and there no doubt they'll go to the playoffs
I told you guys the Guardians are overrated. Also the Guardians announcer is really annoying.
