Great caparison I’m using the Amazfit GTS 2e but I really want to upgrade to smartwatch with storage & a speaker for calls etc & I have an eye for the GTR 2 & the 3 pro, now you helped me make up my mind I’m going for the GT3 Pro what a watch & I like the health features of constantly monitoring the blood oxygen levels & the extra GPS satellites pick up & the larger HD oled display & the better precision for monitoring all the health of your heart BOL etc is £179 on amazon UK but I’m just going to wait for the Boxing Day sales from the 26th December just in case is on sale, if not I’m just getting for £179 is exactly what I was looking for. Just for reference .The GTR2 has access to 4 positioning satelites or services GPS GLONAS BDS and Galileo, two of these services can be utilised at anytime for positioning

Great video and I got a lot of useful information. As for the sensor differences you mentioned out between the two watch series, did you actually compare the accuracy between the readings? For instance when it measures the heart rate, do you get different numbers from the GTR 2 vs GTR 3? And if yes, by how much?
I think I watched this on right time, I was about to grab gtr 3 but I now I go with pro one. Thanks buddy

Great review that really brings out the relative chaos Amazifit threw into their product line by introducing new models with *reduced* functionality relative to previous ones (gee, what could go wrong with that?). And why not offer a 'pro' version of the GTS, which competes more directly against the Apple Watch, offering similar functionality and format along with the one feature Apple Watch owners clamor for, but Apple continually denies them-multi-day battery life. What were they thinking??? In the competitive wearables market they may pay for this.

Great review! I just bought it, I have a small question. Does the crown feel for you super smooth, or when you are rotating it can feel like some gears moving inside? I am thinking it might be just my unit. I am not talking about haptic feedback. Thanks!

great review. i watched your all gtr 3 series and thought about upgrading from gtr2e. i think i would go for regular 3 b/c i dont need speaker/mem/call and i want longer battery life. i have some question, despite 3pro has better screen mem and speaker, wifi, is there any different on software? i used to have stratos 2 and it can connect external HR but already broken at HR sensor, gtr2e is so so hr and gps not that accurate.
I bought amazfit band 5 because of you. Lets see if this video will upgrade mine...

This might not be for the UK version, but the US version of the GTR 3 does have Alexa/speaker built in. You can see it right on their website and amazon page.

Someone please help. The app alerts page does not show any apps. I have tried everything but still I can not get notifications from whatsapp, messenger,etc. on my gtr pro3. The watch is connected to my ios device
I wouldn't use the storage as I always have my phone. Unless I can store other documents on the watch. Getting GTR 3 Pro. Want more fitness tracker than smartwatch.

Can you make a detailed video of calling feature?
Like normally I wear earbuds & they are connected to my phone, so when someone calls me and if I answer the call from my watch, so will the audio from the person calling me will come through the earbuds or the watch? And during an ongoing call do we have an option to change the audio from watch to phone and vice-versa, from the watch itself, or will i have to pull out my phone from the pocket to do so?
And also let me know, is there a feature of battery saver mode and time only mode?

В чехии и в Украине на третью версию цена больше!!! Я не понимаю почему.. Как по мне то я бы их не купил!!! Из за того что они даже не умеют отвечать на звонок. Что для меня очень часто удобно когда заняты руки и телефон находится в другой комнате!!! + нету музыки. Я могу выходить на пробежку без телефона и слушать музыку через гарнитуру чего не получится сделать с третьей версией...

Amazfit GTR 3 pro is the most inaccurate, unrelable watch that i had. Sometimes I can literally feel that my heart beats hard, the watch says 50 or so beats. Every time I record an exercise the watch crashes and loses all the date, and reboots. Cant say about spo or night sleep, but i guess that other reviewers are right in saying that it is rubish too. Pardon my English, it is not my native language. For all of you out there, dont buy this watch it is not worth it. And also, custumer service is practicly non existant. I sent a couple if bug reports and tickets, not one got answered.
Edit. Also, cant make it to measure my spo2 and stress level automaticaly. It only measures when I sleep or stay still for a long period of time, also useless. The only thing that works is GPS. It is accurate and quick to catch a signal. Also, phone calls over the watch is decent.
Another edit. Fixed a lot of things with a recent update. No restarts at all and heartrate seems to be much better. Cant say for sure, I dont have a polar cheast strap but when i know my heart is beating, it shows higher bps!

Also, custumer support told my that Spo2 and stress monitoring simply works that way. You have to be still for measurments to take place. That was a bumer but its ok. What is most important is my watch didnt restart once since that update and I enjoy using it so much! Cheers
