I've been building guns among other things since about 4th or 5th grade and I've never had any problems with even the most questionable builds. On the other hand, I'm just doing it for fun

I think there is a mistake in the animation. Movement is initiated by pressure on the cartridge case. The bolter must move first. The rollers then transfer the movement to the bolt carrier. This will slow down the movement of the bolt. Then the bolt is carried by the bolt carrier. Sorry - I don't know if the translation is ok.
