- As a Florida criminal defense attorney, I have to understand my clients. Its essential to communicate so that I can acquire the best result for their case. Sometimes it can be challenging for both parties or their family members. I recommend you motivate your attorney in a positive way. Pray for them. Ask them what you can do to help them be more successful. Its not a money thing. Its sometimes a pep talk, sometimes it letting them now that you are confident in them. Is food fior thought a non offensive way to introduce some defenses...? I have a public defender not motivated as much as i am about going to trial . Trespassing charge in the house i was born and raised....

Try telling this to a public defender whom is essentially an employee of the same bar as the prosecutor which seems to be a conflict of interest to begin with. All actions are civil in nature it’s just business. Asking a business man to appeal to any moral standards is a far cry especially when he ultimately subject to the judge and prosecutor and doesn’t get paid extra to work for you. A crime has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt the fact that the judge had to watch 4 times to come up with a hypothesis is reasonably doubtful within itself lol it didn’t take me all night to come up with that fact the rest is procedural I guess
Don't think you can just pick up the phone and give this attorney a call and get the same kind of compation as he talks about being so caring and giving a hour of his time to stop and listen to the guy that called. I just got off the phone with Roger and I totally got shut down.

No evidence, no burden of proof that it was who the judge “Assumed it was” so unlawful!!!!!
I’ve just recently seen the state attorney and the judge “ in bed together” using assumptions and convicted a man of second degree homicide that was obviously a tragic accident and the judge even acknowledged that but have him life. Again knowing it was an accident and the two men were close friends. The man convicted did not attack his friend but fell on him and couldn’t get up of of him and did not lay a hand on him and was even seen trying to get up and falling back down several times and obviously did that for several minutes. This is now in Appeal. Such injustice because of politics and money. The deputy lied under oath in his deposition and in court So ridiculous! Again the judge even acknowledged that it was a tragic accident. The man convicted almost died himself. Praying appeals judges will see the injustice and lies in Jesus mighty name Amen

I not a Lawyer and I only took one class intro to criminal justice but, the judge going a head with a trial based on only looking a three takes of the same security camera footage pinning it on the mans son. My BS meter is going off and it is in the red zone.

Yes. If retained in another state I can file in Pro Hac Vice. Sometimes that requires co-counsel in that state to assist with the case. However, It would likely be a big case as traveling to another state to represent someone and having to learn the law in that state along with procedures is time consuming. I have colleagues that have done it.

The person that represenTed me the last day of court had never even talked to me. Please sir I need good ordering direction on what my options are now! I live alone in my own house in Willet ny. No transportation. 6+ years without a license.medical problems PTSD depression pain management.I have paid everything been with a psychologist for many years not one drink in 7 years come october. Sister had a stroke no church, food total isolation and an income of disability 800.00+- a month. I was not treated at all fairly..

I get calls from folks in your area weekly. Your attorney needs to file a motion to compel discovery. It’s not normal. Jail calls you need to file a motion as well. That’s a long time. Wishing you the best in this process.
A public defenders job is to get you to take a plea, that's it.
Please never label. There are public defenders that I would crush me in a courtroom. I have met public defenders that were so good that I was thinking wow I hope I can be that good. Yes, I have met public defenders that were lazy and unethical but I have seen it with just as many private attorneys. Each person must be considered on their own never labeled. Just my thoughts.
Love the videos man I have a quick question I am currently on pre trial release my attorney has filed a motion to dismiss 776.032 and I have my court hearing next month I know if it's granted the case is dismissed but what if it gets denied does it go straight to trial ?

Depends on issue and whether a writ is possible. Also depends on how that judge run his/her court. You need to discuss with your attorney asap

The judge seems to be not the sharpest knife in the draw in my non legal opinion.
although judges are no less human than the rest of us, they wheeled so much power that it is terrifying some times on what little evidence there is that they will allow going forward with a trial.
If you are a judge and you go forward with a trial when the evidence is obvious B.S. from only viewing the footage three times you should stop being a judge.
Some times you got to know when to say no
With me I would want a lot more evidence than just three viewings of the same footage before going forward
In my opinion the best judge and prosecutor know when to not prosecute or not to go forward with a trial.

I so wish you was my son’s attorney… His attorney cursed me out LITERALLY for about 5 straight minutes and ended it, I’M going to see to it that your son (21) gets life in jail… All I asked was I can I get info on my son’s case (he had a hearing the day before that we didn’t know about) 1st time I spoke to him I told him I would and could do anything he needed me to do…. He cursed me out and tired to belittle me for 20 minutes the first time… It was so bad I debated ending myself after that! Still fighting to remove him from my son’s case….

I'm the victim of a "HOME INVASION" I called 911, 5 times and the mean neighbors that were breaking into my house called 911 and said I shot a gun at his house. I didn't have a gun, I was recording with my cellphone. I was beaten on my front porch and arrested on a Friday, August 23, 2019! He filled out a victim statement and I was charged a FELONY GUN CHARGE. AUGUST 24, he withdrew his statement, so his police friends created a crime and I remained in jail for 4 days.

Your issue is that you were never on the other side needing a defense attorney. I always say the best doctor is the one that’s been treated for the same specialty he treats . U have a bit of a disconnect. Some defense lawyers do not work for their client . They take the money and u r lucky if they remember to appear on your hearing date . They don’t take peoples lives seriously .
A lot of that out there . And I also offered more money to motivate . It’s BS man .
If the judge is with the state . It’s kangaroo court especially if there is also no jury trial. As I wrote to u previously. It didn’t matter that there was too much proof that I was innocent and being railroaded. On the 4th and final lawyer . All that mattered was that
He knew the judge . The judge sets the tone .
And no lawyer wants to get on a judges bad side . In fear of future cases with same judge . All 3 quit, because they said they will never get the resolution I expect with this judge …
The system is corrupt .
Even if I was guilty . The 4 Th lawyer would have had it dismissed . It didn’t matter that I was innocent . It mattered that they knew each other !!!
Respectfully you had 4 lawyers. It’s hard to find the right one. I understand that. It’s also hard to find yes man who will agree with everything you say. Lots of people are unrealistic. When someone has 4 lawyers it gives some insight to who the client is. Is everyone wrong or lazy? Maybe. But it’s also possible their guilty and not recognizing the evidence against them. I could write book on people that contacted me and gave their version of innocence. Then the evidence arrives and it’s not like what they said. I don’t know your case facts and make no assumptions about your guilt. Everyone that contacts me is innocent. Then I look at what can be introduced into evidence. Clients pick their lane/route if I can’t make it go away through diversion or technical argument. Thanks for commenting and wish you and everyone having a case the best.

I was accused of assault by auto .
The video from the dash shows there was no assault It was a fake 911 call . And a detective that lied to push the charge . I was advised not to share the smoking gun video with the state / to only use it @ trial as impeachment evidence .
The first lawyer lied that he was a defense lawyer . He was a real estate lawyer . The second lawyer quit because I was too involved .
The third lawyer said there is a problem with the judge . I can’t get you the resolution u expect. -‘and if we take it to trial . There is no jury . It’s a judge trial. The 4th lawyer knew the judge and had it dismissed for them failing to provide the surveillance they say they seen me assaulting with a car . The prosecutor then admitted on the record that he never saw any assault of the surveillance video . But he now also lost it .
I used to think like u just said . Everyone says they are innocent . Yet Everyone is guilty Where there is smoke there is fire .
I have real experience that all that is not true . All The state and police had to do was review this guys rap sheet and see he did the same exact thing to someone else and was convicted off false testimony . And review Mine and see there is no criminal history . So u have a criminal that is known to file false complaints And a surveillance that the state already knows contradicts what the detective wrote on the PR . And they are still trying to prosecute an innocent man ??
That’s where 4 lawyers came in . And fact I never gave in . And got out of it . Hopefully this helps u understand what 4 lawyers mean .
