I bought WALK ON years later at a used cd store. Upon hearing I NEED YOUR LOVE I was astounded. Tears came to my eyes. It is always nice to discover music you missed first time around. This is a true classic!!
I first heard this song on a 2.99 Boston/Asia split CD that I had picked up in a CD dump-bin. Loved Boston's first 2 albums and just lost touch with the band I guess, but hearing this, I was blown away!
I was in my early 20's living in NY state I was and still am a hardcore Boston fan, being raised on the first album (my dad played the hell out of it) I was carpooling to work and "I need your love "" came on the radio YES...... I was lover of BOSTON MUSIC, but had no idea about band news The second the song came on I KNEW it was Boston and WAS THRILLED The other guys in the car said "no way this is Boston" I said "No way it's NOT Boston" LOVED THE SONG LOVED THE ALBUM , still do Like others said- Great songs!!!! OF COURSE I MISSED BRAD,BUT WAS STILL GOOD TO HEAR TOM and the band GREAT SONG GREAT ALBUM
To think, Fran used to nail this song BY HIMSELF in the late 90s, now it takes a female co-lead to help. Man do I miss those days. About these 2, absolutely fantastic sound! And smart too. Having the naturally higher falsetto of the girl handle the higher parts it spares Tommy's voice and lets him hang in there longer! Bravo!!
The original was sung by three singers with incredible range Fran Cosmo, David Sikes and the timeless Tommy Funderburk....I think that Kim and Tommy did a good job! Well done!
Good afternoon Patrick, Never was there a song meant for one person, and one person only, to sing it. The vocalist in this video (male) does a beautiful job although "I need your love" was absolutely meant for Brad Delp - he is missed so very much! I was never at all religious although I am very spiritual. And I do believe in some form of afterlife and simply know that the Heaven I believe in really exists - on any given day I know Brad is humming this tune or singing it for the other residents - Angelic, JC himself and his Dad or otherwise. Great posting Patrick - please do it again. All the very best to you and all those you hold dear, Terry
Good morning Jose, I never was a huge fan Boston although I really felt Brad Delps vocal range was simply astounding and I loved his song interpretations. At 74 years of age and a complete and addicted fan of the music of the 60's having been in several bands (with one track we did that showed up on this areas Top 40) I really haven't kept up with current band line-up changes as well as I could have. I found the version of "I need your love" featuring Fran Cosmo (Migliaccio) and I have to agree with you completely. Brad was excellent and yet Fran manages to sound very much like Freddie Mercury as far as range is concerned. Fran is simply unbelievable and I stand humbly corrected. All the very best to you and yours Jose, Terry
I don't think this is that bad. Imagine trying to reach the high notes of Fran Como. I never saw them perform this live but I always enjoyed seeing them when Brad and Fran sung together
Unfortunately, I never got to see Brad perform live (with any of his 3 bands) because he died tragically when I was in my jr. yr. of HS. Too bad T.S. has screwed every ex-band member and/or their families, as he should've kept Fran in the band as the permanent singer. I would've made an effort to go to a Boston concert if this were the case.

whats really amazing is, i have almost the same story, i was in a walmart an found walk-on in a 10 dollar or less dumpster, never even knew it was out
Amen! Walk On really has some AMAZING songs! Surrender To Me, Magdalene ETC. Brilliant album! Some of my favorite of the bands career.

GREAT SONG
GREAT ALBUM
I love this song! Saw them in Elgin, IL on this tour and I was floored when they played this one. I never thought I'd see them do this one live!
She is beautiful.
I love this Boston.
After the Beatles Boston my favorite band
Brad Delp was a Beatles fan and had a New England Beatle tribute band called Beatlejuice.
BOSTON FUE LA PRIMERA BANDA MUSICAL LA CUAL ESCUCHE EN MIS INICIOS DE ADOLESCENTE EN EL BUEN ROCK
I was born in Evansville so this was cool to see.
I like this song. Band sounds good.
Love that song

Stunning version of an often underated Boston classic
Boston Fantastic Band.
R.I.P. Brad Delp & Sib Hashian.
Sib hashen is gone? Wow, didn't know
Esta banda produz passaportes de viagens para dentro de nossa alma...Que dupla no vocal, que som espetacular!
The original was sung by three singers with incredible range Fran Cosmo, David Sikes and the timeless Tommy Funderburk....I think that Kim and Tommy did a good job! Well done!
All great singers my friend.
I agree. Well done
Wow this is really really good if this is what they are like live currently I'm sooooo going
This is such an amazing song but gets no radio play.
I know right!? This is my favorite "Boston" song.
This soulless performance made me truly appreciate what an amazing singer Fran Cosmo is.
Shout have given Tom Scholtz more respect, and focused the camera in him during guitar parts. He’s the guy on your left.

I love Brad Delp but this song belongs to Fran Cosmo!

Fran sang it better.... A bit of evil in his voice on the chorus.... This was good too
Is that Beth singing?
Yeh Beth Cohen
I don't think this is that bad. Imagine trying to reach the high notes of Fran Como. I never saw them perform this live but I always enjoyed seeing them when Brad and Fran sung together
声がブラッドデルプに似ているから、過去のナンバーを歌っても違和感なし。偶然というか奇跡というか、よく見つけたなという感じ。早く新ボーカリストをフューチャーしたフルアルバムが聴きたい。
I would have built a double neck guitar for this song
The good news: Home Depot is always hiring. Dude might get his seniority back?
This is Great!!. Ok. But this is not Boston. There is no Boston with out Brad. This is a great cover band.
But….
No Brad…. No Boston
RIP my friend
the song begins so promising .. but the chorus is so bland, so random ...
Listen to the studio version, Fran Cosmo lifts the chorus to the stratosphere with his unbelievable high notes!
This song begins cool and gets real good when they start singing .. but then comes this awful chorus ... so cheesy .... what a bummer
The original version with Fran Cosmo does justice to the chorus!
Is this a cover band? This sucks!!!
people actually paid money to listen to this train wreck of a karaoke performance,Boston now is nothing but a 3rth rate cover band
@MarvinGuatemalanBoy It can't be like old days. Only Tom Scholtz is left from the original band
Terrible. Fran Cosmo was better and the ghoul from Home Depot dressed as Brad Delp sickens me.
Unfortunately, I never got to see Brad perform live (with any of his 3 bands) because he died tragically when I was in my jr. yr. of HS.
