    How do you change the spark plugs, do you need to take off the turbo?

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  9 месяцев назад

      It depends on how you build the downpipe and what turbo you choose. Most of the time you can get them with small wrenches or pop off the downpipe

    I have a kangaroo m104 manfold im looking forward to installing it lots more room than a headers and way more robust looking. Are you still running 50% methanol and petrol blend?.

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, when I’m on high boost I run a flex fuel with methanol

      @TurbineResearch Its so cool that you not only try stuff but actually make it work so well. Did the methanol petrol mix have issues with separation or anything if you let it sit to long.

      Thanks 🙏 I didn’t notice any separation of the fuel that I can tell. The flex fuel sensor always reads the same mix and I imagine the fuel pump constantly cycling fuel keeps things pretty well mixed. I have also read that ethanol helps to keep gasoline and methanol stay in solution. So the ~10% ethanol in pump gasoline helps with that I suppose

      Thanks great we have e10 fuel at the pump I think the other issues with corrosion is solved with correct fuel hose and fittings I have used por15 tank seal before for a fuel tank and methanol has no effect on it so i can line the inside of the steal fuel tank. The one other thing is moisture I hear guys running 100% on street cars have a shutoff valve on the fuel tank breather so no air can get in while the car is sitting for a long time.

    Are you helping create these manifolds or importing them from a supplier?

    I think that heat from turbo will affect coil lines, at least it did in my car.

    • @TurbineResearch
      @TurbineResearch  9 месяцев назад

      I haven’t had much trouble with that but there are coil wire insulation boots available to help

    Did Ireland Engineering fix the issue? I was considering buying their mounts.

      They don’t answer the phone or return my emails. Based on their customer service I would avoid them

    must say that's a manifold that will make alot of heat and bad flow.

      How so ?

      @@TurbineResearch it's narrow pipe all the way, resistance gives more heat in the exhaust it almost looks like a stock om606 header. a turbo header shouldn't be like this on a 3.4/3.5l engine

      @@julianlaustsen1991 my old manifold was made out of old fence pipe attached to the stock exhaust manifolds and made 560whp. I guess I’ll have to dyno this one and see how it does.
