A number of women within Labour have been on the receiving end of insults, harrassment, threats and even violence, and Starmer has NOT been interested in coming alongside them or supporting them. To me, this speaks of a man who has no moral backbone, no scruples, and no humanity.
The fact that such women represent very different views seems not to be the significant issue here.
Thus such diverse women as Dianne Abbott, Rosie Duffield, Dawn Butler, Zarah Sultana and Apsana Begum have one significant thing in common:
Starmer seems not to care about ANY of them.
I know Starmer will soon be the Prime Minister, but I for one will NOT vote Labour all the time that it's under its' current leadership.

They can't justify their opposition to equal rights so they create an artificially narrow definition of what a woman is, and then declare that anyone who doesn't hold to that artificially narrow definition doesn't know what the word means. But here's the thing, definitions don't adjudicate meaning. Definitions describe usage they don't prescribe usage. The meaning of words is determined by broad societal consensus and not whatever a small minority asserts and demands that they must mean, that is a dictionary fallacy and it is a bad argument.

I think a lot of men, more-so than women, are unable to appreciate the more subtle details and nuances in the world around them - they don't have the attention span: they 'switch off' before they get to the nitty gritty. Mind you, my local mp is Liz Truss, and she's bloody useless - completely self-serving, or only helps her cronies. The best candidate in SW Norfolk seems to be an independent.
