The Anti-Ice System Issues Plaguing The Boeing 737 MAX & 787 Dreamliner

- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered Boeing to fix a design flaw on the 737 MAX, which, though considered a quote-unquote "remote concern," could disable the engine's anti-icing system without the pilots' knowledge.

After everything that has happened, Boeing is still trying to stand against Murphy’s law… publicly…. They’re insane
When Boeing says: there is no imminent flight safety concerns, that literally means … do not get on that damn plane
Right!! If former employee and whistleblower Ed Pierson won't, then it's not freaken safe.
"relatively minor" ... relative to what?
To Titanic or Hiroshima "incidents" lol.
To MCAS I suppose.
To self disassembling planes mid flight?
To the incidents in the earth
Death ??
Unlikely, like say, the uncommanded rudder hardover? Which did in fact happen?
I hope the next CEO of Boeing changes this ridiculous attitude of the company. It's like they're saying "Hey, I've driven this car over 100,000 miles, but have never needed any of the airbags, so who cares if they shoot out shrapnel when if they go off?"
Average Boeing day 😂
Airbus: eating popcorn 🍿
For real though, what’s happening at Boeing is just sad.
So is Embraer and Comac.
@@Perich29oh yeah that’s kind of true too, lol.

I wish they were required to fix their horrible air conditioning on Max jets. Flight attendants often admit to me in flight the Max jets AC is awful and it’s a common chronic issue with tons of complaints about this issue.
Anti-ice, emergency oxygen, just secondary subsystems, nothing serious here.
Hello to you and the Boeing board. How is lobbying in Washington going?
Cheerleader
@@LeTangKichiroI think he was being sarcastic there
@@LeTangKichiro Thanks for asking. For my own wallet the lobbying is absolutely excellent! 🤫
Joke about that to the families of the Ethiopian Airlines flight 302 and the Lion Air flight 610... I dare you...
Boeing is getting boring
It is never good when you have safety competing with shareholders.
About time the FAA did their job and regulated. What about all the other issues with the currently certified MAX versions?
What issues?
Boeing's worst defective component, its CEO, is going away, BUT not until later this year.
hes just one of many that need to leave. things went downhill with the northrop grumman merge and the adoption of their leadership ethics.
He was the replacement CEO for back when Boeing was in trouble, did nothing, the board is the issue
Give me the good old 737 classics or NG anytime over the MAX!
I fly 737 300
Good thing Ryanair has 400+ 737-800s
they're being replaced so sadly not many will exist
I prefer the MAX, the best 737 ever made 😉

Nowadays, flying on Boeing planes is literally playing Russian roulette
😂 I fly them almost every day at work..
No it isn't.
Well, it is, but then so is life!
And for Russian roulette, it's *extremely* good odds.

Maybe the entire plane is just designed flawed
well, it's 60's design that only accomodate the needs on that era.. so yeah, i can say, original/jurassics is the best version, followed by classics and next generation.. but the whole max is just disaster..
