      Being fast yes, but he cuts the bases so damn well. He’s probably not as fast as you think, but when you turn the bases like he does it’s beautiful to watch

      @@CL2- because at the same time that’s what baseball is, sometimes watching a full at bat is more exciting than just the end result. I.e Ohtani vs Trout 2023 WBC

      Found one interesting nugget:
      Pete Milne on April 27, 1949 hit an inside the park GRAND SLAM for the NY Giants which beat the Brooklyn Dodgers for a final score of 11 - 8. It was his ONLY career home run! ⚾️😲❤️ Still trying to find a list for Wyatt…

      It's not as rare as you might think. He's the 4th Ranger to do it and I think 14th overall since 2000. Josh Smith did it in 2022.

      Yes. There was no error on the play since the ball hit the wall and caromed away from the fielders. Clean hit, four bases, earned run.

    Love an insider-the-park home run, but the camera work on this clip was awful. "At MLB we've got all the coverage and angles YOU want. Here's an extreme close up of Langford running, here's the lead runner scoring, here's the ballboy running for some reason, now let's see the wrong player in the dugout."

      MLB had 15M viewers for the WS. The Kentucky Derby had more viewers. The Superbowl had 115M viewers. This sport is dying and the fact that it take 5+ minutes per AB is a BIG reason why.

      Not an error if the fielder never touches it. Now, the relay home? Might've been an error by not doing it, but since there is no video of the runner at that moment, they could've decided there was no way to get him out.
