Especially on double & triple Xp. So like at least half the week the lobbies are completely filled. And even on reg days like a Monday or a Thursday they’re still a shit ton of ppl on there. Me and a fellow modder are working on a mod for EA battlefront 2 called “Realistic Overhaul” This mod aims to overhaul the health and damage system to be a more movie accurate tactical experience. This mod will prioritize realism and accuracy to the Star Wars movies, while also maintaining balancing between characters. The overhaul will affect troopers, heroes, and reinforcements. Some other changes will be that Friendly fire will be present, rockets will be more effective against vehicles, recoil and weapon sway will be more present, snipers will one shot, grenades will be more realistic, and star card abilities (thise affecting damage and health) will be balanced. One example of balancing will be that the droidekas shield will be op similar to how it is in the movies, but when their shield is down they have low health especially when rolling (1.25 damage multiplier) similar to the OG bf games. We plan to release a beta within the next three weeks, with a full 1.0 release coming in late May or early June. Let me know if you have suggestions or questions! I want this to be a community based project built for the fans! Also I plan to run this mod with a few others on a kyber V2 server this summer. May the force be with you.

i mean moddable games are usually supported for years and years after launch. theres still modders on games way older than this and this is star wars so people will support it another 10 years

Theory: since everything in BF is cannon and considering the potential applications of the engineers in combat I propose that the elite/brightest among the engineers were trained by the Mandalorian Instructors to cut a balance between a commando and an Alpha Class ARC. With a commando's unit cohesion but with the training of an Alpha yet were limited to an engineer's toolset forcing them to think creatively like the other reinforcements and operate with the other GAR members by programming.
I wish dice did what 343 did and gave control of the game to the players because for those of U who don't play halo 343 stopped working on MCC (master chief collection) and gave player complete control of the game if dice did that this game would be even better than what the moders do for this game
I'm thinking about downloading, but I assume more people play the unmodded version than the modded version, so I would like to play the modded version offline and the unmodded version online. Would downloading the mod impede that ability in any way?
