your videos are almost as relaxing as reloading. i keep my cases on opposite ends of the case holder. just me. you know what you are doing and are very safe. got to go watch another video. thanks.
Good tip to check loaded cases with flashligh! I handload 300 magnums up here in Alaska for hunting..I use IMR4381 or Reloader 22 with 180 gr Barnes TTSX and 200gr Barnes LRX. I also use a single stage press...RCBS JR2 from 1972.
To dollar1776, Thanks for the comment, Remember it does not take a big shop to produce good ammo. Good & great shooting ammo comes from reloaders who take the time clean, size, trim, and weigh the best powder for your projectile. Tip: In your reloading books the first powder listed is the best powder and continues down the column in order. Probably not much difference between the first 5 listed. Eddy
Very nice video, I have a 300 win mag and I was looking possibly reload a little bit, however I'll have to get a single stage press and I'm kind of having a hard time finding brass bullets and primers. And instantly I just live over here at Dangerfield not that far from gilmer thank you for your time.
Nice relaxing video I prefer using a hand priming tool but that’s just me, don’t matter really but I find if there’s an issue like an especially loose primer pocket you’re more likely to feel that difference with the hand tool. Enjoy your videos. This is not the sort of thing one should ever do in a hurry and you exemplify that
For checking powder level, just take pencil(or just round stick) and insert it into casing. You can color it to see if it's at right depth :) Much quicker and more reliable to see powder level differences.
MrVolodus good idea to visually inspect each charge... cutting corners for the sake of a minute or two never a good idea... what if the hopper had residual powder from a previous loading session... safety first...
hey eddy great videos learning a lot even though ive been reloading for awhile could you do a video of your reloading its a way better setup then mine I have a singlr stage press rcbs bolted to a kitchen table in a 10x12 buildind behind the house like the videoes keep making them dollar1776
For some reason, my neck tension is terrible with these. The damn bullet can be pushed in if I push against my bench. I have no idea what the issue is.
How accurate is that load? Got a friend of mine that complains about his 300wm. I loaded some Berger 185 juggernaut with RL22 and he still complains. These 150s should shut him up.
Some old school---thank you sir--the new tacticool crowd just shit there pants---150gr in 300 win mag and not some super slow powder so you would fit in-----I load a 125 gr TNT with Varget---at 3500 fps its a laser beam to 500 yards
Hey eddy! First time watching won't be last. I'm starting to getting in to reloading I have my press was wondering what kind of powder and scale you use for your 300 win mag. That's what I'm reloading also
I use a hornady automatic powder measurer. It is very accurate, quick to trickle out and weigh within 1/10 of a grain. I use several powders, varget, 3031, and Bl(C)1 most powders will perform well, but I really like these. Eddy
I know I'm late on this subject bit aren't those powders a little fast for the 300 win I always used things in the 4831 and up range have really liked the rl22 and 23 25 7828and things of that burn speed but I'm sure it's what you like more than anything
@@burnsrandy dont you want the slowest burning powder for a 300 win mag sir? And thanks a bunch for great info video.. is slow powder the best for accuracy in the 300 i meant?
a lot more in my 30/378the king of 30cal with out going wild cat I did acouple of them some powders go up to 120 gr with 230 bullets more powder with lite bullets so I burn a lot of powder but for the long range shooting I do I need a gun some what like this im get a 264 wm for hunting and for shooting steel at long range its cheaper to reload for and very flat shooting but at super long range I think the wind will take is idk maybe ill get a 7mm rum the king of 7mm just letting u know some1 next will say I got a 50bmg funy but im not trying to have the biggest stick I love the 300 wm its the best for the hurting I do I liked ur show what gun is that 300wm for imlooking for 1 to rebarrel bull barrel in 264 or 7mmrum the gun I want don't make it in the cal
I have been loading a 300 win Mag for about 40 years. Best luck with IMR 4831 with 150 to 168 gr bullets. And H4831 with 180 and 200gr bullets.

thanks Eddy, first time watching you, keep posting. Very usefull to me. Philippe
what muzzle velocity are you getting from your loads.. vreat video as well.
Thats a neat little contraction. The thing measures out your powder charge for you.
Great video, thanks for taking the time put these out. Do have any loads for the 458 socom? thank you.

The 10 people who disliked this video are just jealous of this mans legendary bullet production skills
Good man Eddy learning from or videos. Thanks

let me know what cal. you want to see. Eddy

Hey. My name is Jeff I live in Longview Texas.i just got a 300 win mag. About a hundred rounds of brass what would you charge to reload them
So not trying to be negative but have questions as to why you didn’t trim case length or clean off case lube prior to repriming and adding powder?
How accurate is that load? Got a friend of mine that complains about his 300wm. I loaded some Berger 185 juggernaut with RL22 and he still complains. These 150s should shut him up.
The heavier the bullets, the more the recoil....Also depends on what the barrel is cut to as in "bullet jump."

I want to be your apprentice and learn this art
light Bullet for that cartridge. Is it blowing up on deer or holding together?
Hey eddy! First time watching won't be last. I'm starting to getting in to reloading I have my press was wondering what kind of powder and scale you use for your 300 win mag. That's what I'm reloading also
I use a hornady electronic powder measurer, Eddy
looking back at the video I am using imr 4064. Eddy

One question, are those green tips considered armor piercing or are they similar to the hornady vmax bullets?
no, you got it. Eddy
What bullet were you using?
Hi, wondering what press you are using?
lee classic single stage press
Hey eddy I'm in east texas teach me how too reload I'll pay you 50 bucks an hour
Why crimp 300 mag?
I think I crimped mine the first time I loaded but then started only crimping my 30-30 tube mag bullets.
Heavy breathing...
hey I meant reloading room its better than mine but im doing what I can on a budget
