    In 9 seasons from 2008 to 2016, Usain Bolt was the undisputed and untouchable ruler of the sprint disciplines. At 3 Olympic Games and 4 World Championships that took place during that period, he won 6 gold medals in 100 m, 7 gold medals in 200 m, 7 gold medals in 4 x 100 m - a total of 20 gold medals, he is the owner of the current incredible world records in 100 m, 200 m and 4 x 100 m, he broke other people's and his own world records 6 times - achievements that no one has ever had and I doubt that anyone will ever have in the future. Usain Bolt is simply the greatest and best athlete of all time.

    • @malligrub
      @malligrub 3 года назад +56

      Nah, that 9.58 was the fastest he ever ran and the best race he ever put together apart from the first 10m based on splits. If he ran the same race on a perfect day with perfect 2.0 wind and a perfect reaction time, he could have gone as low as 9.48s. If it was Mexico City altitude this would have been a 9.38s WR. Imagine that!

    • @TH-cx2yx
      @TH-cx2yx 3 года назад +16

      @@malligrub the thing is that he only really ran one race a season where he could wr, and that was in championship finals. imagine if in his prime he ran every race as fast as he could. he could probably put together a better race. like a 9.53 or something

    • @muhammadnasif1496
      @muhammadnasif1496 3 года назад +23

      @@TH-cx2yx true, but that could cost him major titles. Bolt is really smart to conserve and only race the smaller meets to prepare for big championships, he avoid any unnecessary circumstances that could have cause injuries. Winning 3 x 100m and 3 x 200m Olympic gold, and 3 x 100m and 4 x 200m in World Championship is quite impossible to beat. It's one thing to be really fast, but to be that fast and injury free is also hard.
