I live in Idaho. This brave Pastor is doing the will of God and is being silenced. Children need their parents to protect them from evil. Idaho is a very weak state and we don't consider it conservative from the governor down. We have thousands of Christians but many don't vote or speak up like this beave man. We have an uphill battle to wage against the powers that be. God save our children from marxists and perverts. God bless this brave man and his family. God wake up America!
Why are parents not pulling their kids out of school? If parents would protest this by simply refusing to allow their children to go to schools this issue would resolve itself. Shame on parents for not doing their part and this Pastor is having to travel to these school board meetings and do all their work. This is makes no sense.
Many parents have no ideas how literature has changed over the years. Many are stressed about putting food on the table etc. Some are working 2 jobs.There was a time you could trust the schools. Some are not involved at all. I agree if a person has decided to have children, the parenting has to be done. I had a friend who worked in a Catholic elem. school. This is over 30 years ago. The children had to bring a folder home and show it to their parents. The parents were supposed to read through the papers and sign it. Many parents didn't sign the paperwork. I worked in a different Catholic elem. school. A handbook goes home with each student at the beginning of the year. A parent has to sign it. One couple had twins. The twins were not following the uniform guide. The principal warned the students about being ready because there would be a uniform inspection. She gave them a few days and she warned them every day. I forget what happened if the students didn't comply. The twins didn't comply. The mother was upset. She ended up arguing with the principal. Uniforms and learning discipline are two reasons parents choose to send their children to a private school. This was 20 years ago. A 6th grader had the wrong haircut. The way he and the parents chose to deal with the issue was to completely shave his head. The principal was warn out. She never had to have these types of conversations with parents before. These are visible things. This has not gotten to a book's content. I have worked with a lot of parents from all backgrounds in different settings. Some are on top of things. Some are helicopter parents. And some are out to lunch. Sadly, some parents want to push the agenda.
Recently, a sophomore student in Washington state took a quiz. He wrote only women could get pregnant and only men have man-parts. He failed the quiz. I know educated parents who do not feel smart enough to homeschool. For some the expense of a private school is out of the question. I think some parents assume school is still like it was when they were in school.
Take your children out of state-run schools. Yes, you may have to give up some material things, but home school your children if you value them as gifts from God. No excuses, folks.
I have heard from a neighbor in Tyler, Texas that a group brought the pornography books in the Tyler Texas library that were mainly in the children’s department in the library. They only were allowed to get them put in the adult section. They also testified for a bill that passed in the legislature about pornography in school libraries. I am not clear if this applies to private schools. They also put forth people to serve on the library board for the city and unfortunately our city council appoints the board and when they went to the city council meeting they were told that they had a private meeting and had already made their decisions on the appointments. It is up to the citizens to support these people that are working hard as conservatives to make a difference in their city and their state. We are in pretty conservative north east texas and it is happening here. God bless those people that tried and cared.
The unions are so powerful, too. I am praying for this pastor. He is doing great work on behalf of the children. Scholastic is huge. I taught ESL in China for a while and I borrowed picture books from Scholastic in Chengdu. The books were in English. The school/store taught ESL. Scholastic is in 165 countries, with books in 45 languages.

Everything we do should be considered in the ears, eyes & hands of our children. If we wouldn't read it to God, why would we read to His children? Sounds like a cry for help from a generation of neglected humans. Some of us yell a little louder in different ways. Imagine what must have happened in the writer's lives when choosing to write, print & sell the books in question. Where did those stories or ideas come from? Why & how the books got into schools is of course to be addressed, but it's when we do so that I pray it's done with a heart of forgiveness & healing for the reality of it. He was my friends (Christian single mom) son and she needed help picking him up and watching him until she returned from work. It was a complete JOY to have him in my home! UNTIL.... HE got a phone. Little by little his personality changed. He became unusually quiet and introverted. I knew in my gut something was very wrong ~ So I had a heart to heart talk with him, as he was like a family memeber. He embarrrasingly admitted his use of porn and after I told him the real GOD given use of sexuality and yes, it's a tempation that can't be awoken until he's an adult --- It wasn't his fault but if he's tempted and he will be. GOD will deliver him and give him a way of escape ~ But how much resistance can an 9 year old under go? I told him "Either you tell your mother and have her then come talk to me or...I tell her" He chose the 1st option. She assured me she had nipped it in the bud, and ALL was well. But this young man? NEVER was the same funny, talkative, aesome kid again! 😢 I don't believe his mother actually did anything or got her son the help he needed! My hands were tied. I did my part and sadly he's a statistic of this awful demonic world That is SUCKING the Life out of our Kids. WHOAH to those who make children stumble --- Matthew 18:10 May the vengence of our LORD come in like a FLOOD!
Thank you for your fortitude and courage. My husband and I homeschooled our 7 children in the 90s and the early 2000s. It was the best decision for us. I remember those years fondly. The children are tightly bonded and love each other's company. Of our children with children, 2 are homeschooling, and 1 has their children in Christian school, and one has them in a hybrid homeschool/ Christian school cooperative. In my view, the public schools should be abolished. Children could go to private, Christian, or homeschool. I was arrested as a Christian activist. A friend and I tore up a very controversial photo book that was being sold locally. The book was the collection of nude children in provocative poses by one pedophile. We went to trial, and the police evidence room somehow lost the evidence. The dear Judge looked at us and said without evidence, they are wasting her time. We were free to go. God is so good!

I went to a school board meeting here in a conservative county in Georgia and parents read porn from school library books out loud and had to leave out most of the words that were explicitly sexual. The books are selected on a national level for all schools in the country.
We can request state legislatures to return Bible, prayer in USA public schools. Also, join local school boards/attend meetings. Donate appropriate books to school/public libraries. Homeschooling is it's own reward I think. Read The Boxcar Children story to your precious children. It's all possible with the Lord Jesus!

Eric, you have become so good lately. I am really excited when I watch you. You used to be to jokey but now you were really awesome. I liked you with Jordan Peterson to you have it right and I appreciate you and I think somehow this man or somebody has to connect with all of us Who are on that page which is most people. How come we can’t get something going that’s big so most people can react to it and shut it down? I don’t understand that at all. Many many years ago. Glenn Beck did that in Washington DC. I remember I was there. Why can’t we do that again?

It has been slowly happening since the 60s. One brick at a time was removed from a solid foundation. The other thing is unions are powerful. The LGBTQ movement has a lot of money and they are using it in western countries. The elites who want to ruin America are attacking the children; they are also attacking other issues. Look at the Harvard, UPenn, and MIT and others, I am sure. They are getting money from Qatar and other foreign countries.

I went to a school board meeting here in a conservative county in Georgia and parents read porn from school library books out loud and had to leave out most of the words that were explicitly sexual. The books are selected on a national level for all schools in the country.
We can request state legislatures to return Bible, prayer in USA public schools. Also, join local school boards/attend meetings. Donate appropriate books to school/public libraries. Homeschooling is it's own reward I think. Read The Boxcar Children story to your precious children. It's all possible with the Lord Jesus!
