    I’m Mexican, getting married into an Indian family. I think Mexican food it’s amazing but INDIAN FOOD IS the most amazing food ever created. Cooking Indian it’s not easy but I’m here to learn! ❤️❤️

    This recipe is awesome. I've never put toasted spices in my raita. I added a little mint to mine as well. The chilli flavour is subtle but still has a little bite. Sooooo good. Thank you for sharing.

    Hello sir,
    This rubbing of ends of the cucumber really helps in removing the bitterness.
    Its just that you need to rub it before you peel of the cucumber.

    I made this recipe today and it was awesome. But I didn't fry the vegetables and masala. Instead I have put in grind cumin directly. Also I have put a bit of chat masala. And if you have completely sweet curd and you want a bit tangy flavour(which is tastier), then you can add other tangy veggies like tomato or little lemon,according to your need.

    Dude....like that was ...like...awesome...I felt like I was in my mother's cousin's daughter's best friend's grandmother's house in the little village of Khanpur off the city of Ludhiana PB again, watching all everybody getting the evening meal ready...hehe...except back then everybody cooked over dried cow-poop in outdoor chulla stoves...Oh the memories.

      yeah probably best fancy raita recipe I have seen ever! I was looking for prepared raita at the Indian market today and this older lady laughed and told me everyone makes it from scratch!

    why mustard seeds at the end? shouldn't you start with them so that they pop?

    my grandma told me mustard is one of the herbs which takes the longest to digest, so it needs to be roasted thoroughly before adding any other ingredients. But, I noticed you put the mustard at the end and didn't even wait for it to crackle??? someone is going to get tummy ache Bhaiya (:

    I wish I had seen the recipe on Friday. I had guests coming over for lunch this saturday and I did prepare cucumber raita the usual way. :-( But I still have some curd n cucumber in the fridge. vl surprise my hubby this evening :-)

    the raita looks good, though i haven't tried it yet. but why did you not use the core of the cucumber - the seeds, etc? i would really not like to waste anything.
