Absolutely. That’s why I always enjoyed filming with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. Sometimes the aircraft formations they put together are once in a lifetime experiences.
Wow, a little late but this video just got recommended to me today and I remember being at the warplane museum that day! Unfortunately, we only stayed long enough to see the DC-3 flying... :(
No worries, thanks for watching! Ah, RUclips's recommendation system has been crazy as of late so its all good. Ah, sorry to hear that, this was an amazing treat to see though. Who knows if it'll ever happen again.
Two beautiful aircraft made for two totally different purposes. 1 of two B29s left flying and the ONLY Operational Lancaster on the planet. It wasn't the aircraft that made them great...it was the men with balls of steel that flew in them.
There are only two operational Lancasters flying, one is the CWHM and the other is the BBMF one and they last flew together in 2014, so where did you see two Lancasters flying together this year? The only other Lancaster that is working is the one based at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire and is only allowed to taxi and won't be flying for another 7 years!
to think there were thousands of these Lancaster's made and now so precious
Yup, only two left airworthy now.
Ernest Gutschik Aviation oh how I would love to own one of the few that can still get in the air
Incredible sight, what a fortunate few to see two historic planes together, it may never happen again

That's the radar at Hamilton interfering with the mic. The mic picks it up when its connected to my camcorder.

Haven't played that game in a few months lol. I'm Tier 4 RAF.
