I currently work at a Honda Manufacturing plant it's nowhere near advanced as this but everyday when I go to work no matter how much I'd rather be at home I still think it's so cool seeing how these cars we see everyday on the streets are actually made. I remember when I first made it to Honda I thought the place was huge (which it is) but it's a lot easier to get where I'm going now that I've been there for a while
I live in Texas, drove past this a few weeks ago and my gosh that really is a big building. Going 80 mph and it took a surprising amount of time to get by. Only wish I’d gotten an event invite!
Look at those people holding up sticks. That cracked me up. The Tesla coil was playing the Imperial March from Star Wars and those sticks as you call them were florescent lights. They light up from the static produced from the Coil.
Tesla is revolutionizing the car manufacturing industry! Elon has outdone himself with Giga Texas, I can't wait to see the future from this factory and what cars come out of the factory doors.
I’ll tell you something the first time I ever saw a Li battery pack disassembled was on RUclips. It surprised me that it wasn’t one giant battery, but it was made of individual D-cell sized batteries. Just to think these Li batteries that power a Tesla all come from a natural lithium ponds. Incredible. A work of physics and nature put together.
Hi Dan thanks so much for providing a great insight to what was going on at Cyber Rodeo. We get a great look in how the cars are made from the stamping and 4680 battery cells right through to the finished car. That’s so much better than the actual speeches. Hopefully all Giga’s can get 4680 soon.
Thank You for a real factory tour. Texas Giga Factory has only been long, long drone shots of the exterior by many channels not showing anything. I finally get an understanding on how the Model Y is to be assembled. 500,000 a year is like 1300 vehicles every work day. Elon's speech talked of 1 million a year from Texas Giga Factory; 20,000 employees; the cybertruck; what a journey to witness. Thanks Dan for a REAL informational vid about Tesla.
Seeing these factories, not only Tesla's, but any automotive factory, most people are OOOOHING and AHHHing over the product being made. I'm OOOHING and AHHHING over all the stuff it takes to make the product. Usually no one has a clue what it takes to make the simplest of assembly devices and material handlers and the time and money that's invested..... and many times there are dozens of each of these devices. It's mind boggling the expense to get a factory like this up and running. Kudos to all the machinists and Toolmakers involved in making all the "stuff".
I started working here not too long ago, seeing this, compared to how absolutely jam packed it is today, is wild. Havent been here long but damn is it great
Dan If you were wondering why they were holding stick well those sticks are fluorescent tube lights and when the Tesla coil turns on making the current between the two the lights light up because of the low pressure mercury be a Nobel gas it lights up when an electrical current is ran through it in a low pressure environment
Now Imagine if like Ford, Dodge and other Car Companies did stuff like this now and then. Not saying every year. but if they did something like this at similar scale every 5 or 10 years.
thanks for the conversation in line. fun to see you grab content. you took off like a kid at the amusement park.. though we all did! now i know you saw (the roadster)....zoom range on your lens from VIP section was great!
This is just a guess but I think at 14:09 the people are holding the sticks up because if you listen closely it sounds like the coils are play star wars - and the sticks kind of look like Light Sabers! (This is probably completely wrong)
Dan, Hopefully you would read my comment, Those are Glowing sticks doing it because the Tesla Coils feed them wireless but also, they we're playing The Imperial March from Star Wars. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Nicely done @Tesla
Wow great video amazing factory. They are such beautiful cars. At the part where you said they are all buying merchandise do you know where online we can buy official ones not the eBay not great quality ones please. We are looking forward to the next video. X
Great video, Dan! Glad you got to go. Time for a thought filled comment! :)) I thought I heard there was no WiFi there, looks like that was incorrect! I wonder if the speed was adequate for live streaming. So funny seeing so many WiFi connections for the wall chargers though. So cool just randomly seeing Franz walking around. :) As I suspected, there is so much I didn't get to see from other videos that was at this event! Those automatic transporters are super interesting! No idea they had a rock concert! :D Really cool seeing those ribbons stretched out. Hmm, a cactus farm?! And a tattoo parlor?!?! Cool seeing Tesla Coils, and the sticks they are holding up are lights, the Tesla coils power them, it's really cool. I have heard them play songs at a museum near me. Great how you got to see Kimbal at the end there! Lol how do those security people not know what ridesharing is xD Always fun seeing another POV of the event. Thanks again!
(The sticks the people were holding were light tubes shaped like lightsabers, and the teslacoil was playing star wars music and lighting up the light sticks staticly)
I am Tesla employee in Fremont California but all of us Production Associates working super hard from our sweating 😅🤣 Hopefully getting pay more by our boss Elon Musk.
i know one of the people that went up next to the AI bot before you, they were talking about how they saw someone get kicked off the AI bot area and I realized it was you that they saw
Met you on the second floor after the concert happiest day of my life seeing a childhood icon to me be right in my presence such a nice guy and such an amazing event Elon and tesla killed it and I’m even more proud that I get to work here
@15:45 HAHA, great "the Simpsons" reference when Br. Burns gets loose from the hospital, all dazed and confused while glowing green due to years of radiation exposure, and then is mistaken for being an alien by the town's people.
So cool. That factory is LEGIT.

14:13 those are not sticks, those are fluorescent tubes glowing from the wireless tesla coil energy
Powering them wirelessly correct? And did you notice the noise from the coil sounded “Star Wars esq”

It was great to get to say hi Dan! Great overview of the factory. It was insane!
G'Day Dan, it was great to re-watch this after almost a year.
Loved your take on it.
Look at those people holding up sticks. That cracked me up. The Tesla coil was playing the Imperial March from Star Wars and those sticks as you call them were florescent lights. They light up from the static produced from the Coil.
This has got to be your coolest video yet. But I think we all are missing Lincoln

Great recap vid. Would love to see you get a full factory tour someday.
Great coverage!! We would not otherwise seen it this well!! A great big thank you!!

Thanks for sharing. I love how the Tesla coil was humming Star Wars!
Glad I wasn’t the only one who got that.
Thanks Dan! Best video I’ve seen of cyber rodeo and about the structural battery pack!
Great overview video, the Austin assembly plant looks amazing!
Now i appreciate the event as you brought us what was happening inside the building.. the best coverage so far among all youtubers👍
Thank you!
Thanks for bring us with you dude, I love your passion and enthusiasm; gets me excited :D

The “sticks” were florescent light bulbs. Tesla coils excite the gas and make them light up.

1:04 this guy's walking is a signature walking. I hardly know him but I remember his walking very well for testing the Tesla on stage.
