Hey WIGBAES! FYI I REGULARLY GET NECK AREA CHECKED DUE TO PCOS AND I AM FINE. IT IS FAT LOL. *Drop your fav natural haircare products!* Healthy hair is not just about length. I finally let go of what no longer served my hair journey and I feel 10 times lighter. Let's chat below 🤞🏾
Well done Kie, now you can make some hair products to help you with your hair loss.
@melanieBrady-vb3rv I have no clue where to start but I love to research
@@KieRaShon there’s plenty of natural hair gurus on here such as Dinma Oke etc and let me tell you, try coffee to help with your hair, it darkens greys, thickens hair, grows bald spots etc. I even bought caffeinated shampoo 🧴
Thank you for sharing. Love the support your spouse gives you.
I love love love it! You look fabulous as always. My bald spot is similar to yours. I’ve been thinking about cutting my natural hair short. You truly inspire me. I just might do it. Oh, and my favorite moisturizing products are Qhemet Biologics.
I'm not sure why this video made me so emotional however I am so thankful for influencer's like yourself who are transparent. There are so many women who are dealing with the same issue and who are embarrassed to speak about it or have no knowledge on how to move forward. Just seeing your support and your confidence is beautiful. I mentioned to you before that I cut off my locs and it was very "freeing" but also my hair was thinning and I wasn't confident enough to wear my locs out anymore. I will be going to get me some topic this week! All I want is to wear a simple ponytail again. Again thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Thank you for this comment. It really means a lot to me that through the laughs and unserious wig reviews, there is a corner of my channel that discusses topics like hair loss and has an audience. A space to feel truly JUST ME. I really am blessed and honored ro have such wonderful women to GROW with
You not the only one. Definitely was over here shredding a tear or two.
People be so quick to judge women and men for wearing wigs but there are people that have medical conditions. For black women our hair is a valuable part of us...
if you know you know. Hours at the hairdresser as a child or in yo mamas kitchen then all the styles we adorn like crowns . I had thick strong hair until iron deficiency anemia made my hair thin. I share your feelings and I love that you are embracing your natural hair journey thank you for your transparency.
You are so correct. I still love my wigs, but I want to be happy naturally too.Thank you for sharing, beautiful. I am happy this video is finding the right people 😊
It's beautiful how supportive your Ken Ken is to you.
he is awesome
"I do not need long hair to have healthy hair". ❤
It suits you very well Kie! I have never felt comfortable wearing my natural hair until this year. The big chop was symbolic of a lot of things. I’ve fallen in love with my own hair for the first time so I know the feeling. Cheers to our healthy hair and lifestyle changes! The green with the accessories was fire 💚✅
Thank you so much sis!! You have really inspired a lot of us from your journey. You are a blessing to me 🙏🏿❤️ Do you see a difference in your hair since you have started your fitness journey?
@@KieRaShonno problem! And it’s hard to tell just yet. I think in a few months I’ll be able to see.
I think the cut has done more for my hair’s health than fitness so far.
While I love your wig reviews, your short cut is perfection. Congrats on this new phase of your hair journey.
aww thank you so much!
Thank you for being so transparent and vulnerable with your audience. This is exactly why I hate that Black women who wear wigs are judged so harshly.
💯 Well said.
Honey I love this! PCOS has affected my hair and it is thin at the crown. My hubby did my big chop in 2013 and has been supportive through my hair experience. I love your channel!
Congratulations! You look great, and I love how happy you are!
I also wish more men could see how supportive your husband is. Too many men pressure the women they're in relationships with into wearing certain kinds of hairstyles. That was also a beautiful thing to see.
He makes sure I never experience that. But I def know what you mean. That is unfortunate.
Yes!
I’m so proud of you Kie! When I was first diagnosed with alopecia, I TRIED EVERYTHING! My loss has always been on the parietal bones (just above the ears) and around the hair line. I just gave up, my husband prayed over me, and WE chopped IT. When my late husband helped me with my first chop, I cried so hard. You’re right when u say our hair is our crown. It was the hardest thing I had to do. Now, I just keep it bald and rock wigs. I do miss having my long hair, but GOD created wigs, so I make do. Thank God for men like Kenny! It’s easier when you have a supportive spouse. God bless you both🙂
Kie, gurrrrrrrrl! As soon as you slid your bonnet back to reveal your cut I yelled "COME ON FACE!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEES B**********TCH!!!!!" You are so freaking beautiful. I mean, I love you with wigs but the way your features popped TF out with your TWA, really don't make any sense.
I'm over here snapping in Z formation like "YOU! BETTER! GO! OFF"!
I love the way Ken loves and supports his boo! And baby girl is so stinking cute. Enjoy being extra, extra cute with this summer rocking your quick and easy "get up and go" cut! 😘
YEEEEEEEEEEES'a! *snap, snap*
omgoodness lol this made me giggle in the best way. thank you so much for the confidence boost. I love youuuuu down!
@@KieRaShon I/we love you doooown right back boo!
I agree. It's definitely the face for me! The whole look is fantastic!
Loving the natural hair Kie. I suffered from alopecia for years and then 3 years ago shaved it all off. Loving my bald head.❤❤❤
I love this for you ❤ thank youuu
Kie you gave me hope I've been wanting to cut my hair as well do to my alopecia problem but I was scared and I am dealing with the same thing saving hair that I can't save. Bless Ken Ken for being there to help cut❤ you look amazing I love the new look❤
I am glad this helps sis. I trust you will feel instant relief after the fact. thank youuuu
@@KieRaShonYes love you so much Kie❤ I'm ready to be twins❤
I totally agree! I just got diagnosed with ccca; this video has been so encouraging for me to take that next step of letting go the hair that doesn't serve me!
Hi Kai....like you i have PCOS hair loss too and I did a big chop two weeks ago. I have low precocity as well. I am in between products at this time but all I can say is stay away from product that have sulfur and alcohol in them they are killers to my hair. I live in Jamaica and I have a coworker who makes deep conditioner and that is what has been saving me to retain some amount of moisture. My hair was making me sad and it still is especially when i know what my hair was and what it is now. Some days i feel ugly but I am learning to cope with this new reality. I have learnt that with PCOS we also suffer with mal absorption so the minerals and vitamins that we need for hair skin and nail growth we may not be getting all of it from our foods. I liked this video you rocked it. All the best I will keep watching.
great information, thank you for this. I will be taking this into account for the products I use
You look beautiful--with and without your wigs. And, I gotta say, I love what I see of you and KenKen. Thank you both!
GORGEOUS! I have not worn my natural hair out since my hair loss. About 2 weeks ago I did get get my Hair chopped off And I was so terrified and self conscious to wear it out. But I threw on some makeup, and rocked it!
I know that's right!! I want to be just as confident in my natural hair as I am in my wigs!
@@KieRaShon WE will get there!! 😉😂
Life has different stages and no matter what is going on in your life....try your best to be happy and to find peace in your life. Don't sweat the small stuff. The important things in life will be more than enough to deal with. How you feel about yourself is vital to your mental psyche. Dam other folks and their opinions......😊
all good thoguhts over here, thank you!
As long as you leave it in it's natural state with absolutely NO tension, massage your scalp with Castor oil and Biotin oil, plus Vitamin D and your follicles will heal. Don't ever let your hair be dry (Indian Hemp, Castor oil and Blue Magic did the trick for me).
DO NOT braid your and do not apply product because it will clog the pores on the scalp. You look absolutely stunning with your natural hair. Embrace it and it will grow. Speaking from experience.
Not alone. I have been experiencing the same problem, but less severe, and last year I had to shave my hair off, but thanks to God I was able to overturned this problem with my diy hair serum, hair tea, and hair protein on a daily basis. You’ll surely find something that can help
I have PCOS and experienced hair loss in the same area about 4 years ago. I started using Kreyol Essence Haitian Black Castor Oil with Rosemary Mint everyday and still use it daily. Now my hair is stronger and thicker. I also use Pure 7 Back to Nature Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner only. It's an all natural made product from a black licensed hair practitioner and nutritionist. Blessings!
Kie, you are absolutely glowing! I am so proud of you. The Toppix worked wonderfully, too. Cheers to change and being the very best version of ourselves. Can't wait to see all of your progress in August! Love you!!
Yesssss can't wait to see you in August!! Thank you so much best fran, love you down
On a serious note, I have watched this video ten times since you posted it. Your words are helping me to accept my “now” hair and stop grieving and searching for my hair that I will probably never have again. It is a different journey (to me) when your hair loss is the middle of your head, and so many don’t understand. But you Ms. Ma’am get it. I’m not to the acceptance stage that you are, but I do believe I can get there and be okay. Thank you social media BFF.
Bless you and your hair journey. I am thankful this video is reaching the women it needs to. We are not our hair, but I understand how important it is to us.
Girrrl.... I know hair might do a lot for most women but your energy and light is SO BRIGHT that the "crown" doesn't even matter. You are simply beautiful. PERIOD. Nonetheless, ty for sharing your journey with us
I just want to say you are such a beautiful person inside and out. You rock everything you try including your natural hair. I love watching you and how hubby is so supportive. What a beautiful couple and family. 🙏🏾❤️💪🏾
Hi girlie! I really loved your video and I share the same/similar journey. I have not worn my natural hair out period since 2008! When I had Locs. I’ve always said that we should have a 2 week retreat somewhere, where women can bodily, safely, and confidently try products and also just wear their hair out or try new styles. It would be educational and we could have seminars, hands on workshops to really learn about our actual hair. I know that sounds corny, but I think it would hold a lot of value. ❤ Thank you for doing this!
Embrace it sister. It’s very becoming. Actually, you’re blessed to beanie to Rick it short , long wigs, kinky wigs, half up styles. You’re gorgeous dahling🌞
Your big chop has made you bloom. Absolutely beautiful. Ken Ken is your ride or die - so supportive.
I have the same hair texture as you, and my hair loss is happening in the same area. I haven't been brave enough to show mine. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I just cut my hair and my husband shaved it and I felt like I let the negativity go that was attached to my hair. I have traction alopecia due to years of pulling due to stress and being too heavy handed. But I literally feel free ❤❤❤ tfs Ms. Kie and stay blessed and happy
I love the wigs, but you're stunning without them too. Our freedom begins with our crowns. The cut is empowering to me, love the face. Your videos are always informative and fun.
Thank you for being so vulnerable! The cut is stunning on you! ❤
And I love Tabitha Brown 's products. Gives me moisture for days
As someone who is also suffering from major hairloss as well. This is so inspiring, I did a major cut as well but this is inspiring.
My pcos started to affect my hair two years ago. Ive cut my hair multiple times because its falling out anyway. I have some bald patches in the middle. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
You’re glowing!!!!
Beautiful as always!! Thank you for bringing awarness to PCOS and allowing fellow women like myself to find a safe space!! Hey to all my PCOS beauties ❤
Happy Monday 💜
Wowwww I'm so happy for you taking this big step. You look absolutely gorgeous with this cut. 😍 when I big chopped years ago it was soooo liberating. My family was more upset than me
.smh..lol 😂 I definitely need to get some of that toppix because with my pcos I have the thinning up top too. It worked great. 👍🏼 I always love how transparent you are about pcos and your journey ♥️ tfs
Have a Blessed Day 🙌🏼
🛐Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.”💜💜💜
I love your videos on wigs and I've learned so much from them, but what makes your channel even more relevant and valuable for me (and yes, emotional) are the times like these when you are so open and honest about your own hair journey...they're an encouragement and an affirmation that yes, we value our own hair with all the imperfections but yes, it's not a rejection of our natural selves if we choose to rock that wig! Blessings to you as you go, and you already know that many of us are right there with you. (oh yes, and I just started using Camille Rose products and I'm loving them... recommended by my daughter-in-law who has always taken great care of her hair.)
YOU GO GURL!!!!!
GORGEOUS!
Nothing but support Kie. We on this journey with you.
My soul is singing! SO BEAUTIFUL
Your natural hair looks soooo good!!!
Try Bask and Lather or Alodia Haircare. Both are black owned with all natural ingredients. Embrace your natural hair! You look fabulous!🥰
Beautiful as always ❤️ 💖 ❤!!!
You Slayed!!!!!!
You look fabulous!
Absolutely beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous!!love your videos!!
I usually watch you on my tv so I don't comment much but I had to come here and tell you that your hair is too cute. I'm happy to see more wig baes wearing their natural hair. I see Britney cut hers too and is wearing hers out. I've been battling thinning and hair loss. Mine came out really bad in the top and it was devastating. I really don't know what cause it. I'm guessing perimenopause???...because I was going through so many other changes due to this. I've cut mine off and started over several times and now it seems to be doing better...fingers crossed it will stay that way.
Super cute just as expected!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
Your hair & makeup looks great! Also Love your glasses!
I love it! You look gorgeous ❤😊

You look so beautiful with this cut!!! Suits u so well😊
You look great!❤
I just cut my hair into a fade, again, 3 weeks ago. I know you feel light, happy and free! I love it! As for products, I’m using Olaplex and Cecred.
Ok, so I ordered olaplex a few months ago and never used it but I used it to wash my hair before the cut. I only have 4 and 5 and the oil. Do I need others? I heard cecred is good. Which do you recommend from them?
I enjoy 3 the most. If anything, I would say purchase #3. Also#1 is great for strength. I use this once maybe once a month. I just started using Cecred, I enjoy the hydrating shampoo, the conditioner or the honey deep treatment mask. It makes my hair feel strong, soft and hydrated. The oil is great also, I used it everyday.
KieRashon. I luv you, girl (like a sis)! You are Sssoooo REAL!!👍🏾👍🏾🥰
You look beautiful wearing your natural hair🌷
Okay Kie... you slayed as always! I love it🎉

So proud of you and how far you have come in your journey. U have done this with confidence, continued strength and grace. Long or short hair, you are bad to the bone! A queen upon her throne!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your journey! When you said not having long hair and having healthy hair is the goal I felt that. I started to feel like my goal for long hair isn’t my ministry anymore lol. I don’t even care to have king hair anymore and I’ve been wanting to cut into a bob for the longest. I think I’m going to do it now so thank you.

Hello, I have watched a lot of your videos. I have subscribed to your channel for this very reason. I must say I really appreciate your videos. I too suffer from PCOS since I was diagnosed in 2009 but my crown started to thin long before that but I didn’t know why. I appreciate your courage and transparency in your journey. Thank you for doing this I rarely seen videos that was just like me losing my hair in the crown area. I want to say thank you again.
It’s super cute! I think you should go super short - your face is so beautiful! ❤❤❤
I was thinking this too....hmmmm lol
