I was a kid in the 80s and those 80s Halloween decorations are legit.
They needed a comeback! I’m really diggin’ it!
Y'all were raving about The Conjuring got me excited for the IPs were getting at OT. But then I didn't hear much about Stranger things after y'all came out. Hmmmm.
I somehow didn’t record lol, but if you’re a fan of Stranger Things, it’s a bit disappointing, it’s missing all kinds of key things from the show. But if you have no clue what stranger things is, it’s great.
@Swizey I see. At OT, we are getting Stranger Thibgs too, so we will see how it goes for us.
I'm most excited for Trick'r Treat. It's the only IP that has a scare zone too. I'm hoping for copious amounts of jack-o-lanterns in that zone.
@Savagemister I wish we would have got trick r treat somewhere in the park, I love that movie a lot! Describe it as best as you can in your next vid and I’ll see if it’s similar at all, i really wish we could record like at SW 😓
@@Swizey It's my favorite Halloween themed movie EVER. I love it. The scare zone still hasn't had it's sets delivered, but the haunt sets are gorgeous. It's not long enough though, the maze itself. It's still beautiful though.
You can find some channels covering Magic Mountain, they are apparently allowed to film in the houses as per normal throughout the season, and you'll see how the house looks inside.
From what i understand Festival of Fright was supposed to be trick r treat. @Swizey

The Arrival is a definite highlight 🔥 & spooked is good, that’s what I was going for 😆
small correction* fear acres has always been in hurricane harbor, but Soul Harvest was replaced with Dia De Los Muertos and the house was donated to fear acres !
Oh I was referring to that actual building piece being moved from the plaza to the front of Fear Acres 😅 I see how it coulda been confused because I wasn’t real specific
Awesome video! A little sad we didn't get to go to opening night, but it also looked very crowded. But hopefully will be making it out next Saturday. Also enjoyed that ending 😄

I completely missed the mark on reviewing stranger things 😬 Part of it might of been because I didn’t like it too much, I’m a big fan and didn’t feel like enough was included into it, if you aren’t really a fan then you’ll probably like it.

I missed the mark on posting my reaction to it, but as a huge fan of Stranger Things I felt like there was a bit missing. If you’re a casual watcher of ST then you’ll probably like it! I’m not very easily scared but I’d say Conjuring has some moments that would get ya 👻

I wish I could have 😓 Six Flags still doesn’t allow it, I’m hoping it’ll change at some point. SW doesn’t seem to have any problem with it every year so I’ll be recording there for sure!

How was Stranger Things you said nothing about it after yall went through??
I definitely missed the mark there… It wasn’t exactly what I set my expectations to, they put too many off us in at once so I missed some jump scares. My guess is that was mostly due to the crowds and them trying to clear the line as fast as they could for opening night. There’s some key things from the show that are missing, if you’re a big fan then you’ll notice, If you’re a casual watcher then you’ll absolutely love it. Set your expectations low and I think you’ll have a better time, also try to go with a smaller group by either being one of the first in or waiting it out until later in the night when the lines start to clear that way you don’t miss the jump scares, which are key to this haunt working. Just wasn’t enough of those key elements on my first go around but I’ll have to do it again to see if I have a different experience.
Do you know if we have to pay extra for the house I do have an a season pass
Yeah it’s $40 for the pass after taxes, but if you have one of the Diamond passes then you should get 15% off
