      i believe this variety Vivax is for sale at many nurseries

      the grove is 80 years old - each bamboo is 10-20 years old

    PS. They make lots of types of Clothing with Bamboo Fiber now.. Very Soft Material.. :)

    "Phyllostachys vivax" you said sir?
    Online the Plylolstachys vivax doesn't have the same color as yours.
    Can you provide me a link to see how I can buy it in my are?

      vivax comes in different colors - look online to see if you can fine it or something similar as Phyllostachys bambusoides

      50 feet tall - grow are is 50 by 100 feet

      @@mspatil9289 these plants only seed once every 200 years - so you have to buy cuttings of the bamboo and then plant it in your garden.

      Phyllostachys vivax. Common name: Chinese Timber Bamboo · Typical height in USA: 40 to 50 feet. Diameter: 3 to 5 inch canes. climate zone 6b-10

      @@growproteas1148 Vivax can grow in cold winters, but it's very susceptible to snow damage because of its thin-walled culms, which often break.
