Personally, I love Britt's little chats in the vlogs because she brings everything to the table and speaks the truth. I can totally relate to what she means about people getting caught up in social media instead of real life. When we are online, texting, and posting pictures it takes time away from the things we could be doing in real life. I had to take a brief break from social media to get myself together once (at the time I was battling anorexia). I was really caught up in social media and not focusing on what I needed to do to become better as I was getting sick, and soon it became too late. Later on I realized that I needed to focus on the important things in life, and social media wasn't on that list. Of course, I'm better now, and I can understand where you're coming from Britt. Thanks for the vlog chats! 😊

Don't worry about graduating college "on time". I'm 22 myself and will be graduating at next April at 23 years old. I felt the same way you did, like I was behind or not smart enough. You'll get done when it's your time to be done, don't worry!
brittany, i loved your speecgh. i actually listened to the whole thing and what youre saying is so true. i feel that people do always have a tendency to check social media and whenever they do something they have to post it on social media and basically, life now revolves around social media, me for example. I turned 30 in November and I freaked out! It was terrifying. At the time my husband and I were actually in the process of buying our first house ACROSS the country so I had a good distraction. I struggled with infertility for 7 years and EVERY birthday my wish would be for me to get pregnant. Becoming a mom is my lifetime goal. I feel I was meant to be a mom but my had other ideas. I especially wanted to be a mom before 30. I wasn't. I did IVF and had 2 miscarriages and was told we could IVF again in the new state we moved to but it wasn't going to be until Sept. (I'll be 31 in Nov.) but life had other amazons plans and I somehow got pregnant on my own and found out 2 days before Christmas. So now 30 has been my best year yet. I will be a mom no later then early Sept. (She's due Aug. 30th) My goal will be reached at age 30 which was so scary to me.
When I watch you all, I feel like a part of the family! Even if you and Austin have arguments.. you all work it out at the end of the day. As a subscriber, I think I learn life lessons from you'all's channel! I really just want to thank you all for that!!

I feel what you're saying about social media , Britt. But , I feel like social media has both positive and negative effects , depending on the person. On one side , it can become addictive for many people and some can't stay off of it for even a second and want to capture every moment just to put it online. Whereas for other like myself, you enjoy it every now and then and it kind of opens up a whole new world of discovery. It gives you a glimpse into peoples lives , helps you to connect with friends , and so on. So , yeah if you spend to much time on it , it can possibly become toxic ,but checking it every now and then isn't a bad thing to me :) .
Ive had those moments too Brit, Im your age when you first started vlogging with Austin and Im about to turn 25 and I felt like I havent accomplished much in my life but I had to keep reminding myself that God has a plan for me. So dont worry, sometimes Gods plan for special(hardworking & loving) moms like you include leading the little ones to his throne and from what Im seeing so far..you've been doing just that. I find Britt's rants interesting because they teach me life lessons. I might be too young to relate to all of them but at the end of the day they teach me something. I tried to stop being on social media and couldn't last a day. I want to be able to look back at my teen years and say I remember doing that but how can I when social media has such a huge impact on my life now. This little rant just made me notice that I need to better my relationship with God and that I need to go and make memories that I will cherish 😄

I think social media is a good/bad thing you can meet new people, learn new things, and much more. We also rely on it sometimes to where it's almost our only social life and that's the bad side plus many more. As far as the 30 thing I wouldn't worry you can never stop setting goals and doing important things in life. Not to mention all the things you've done BEFORE 30! Never feel discouraged 😊💪🏾

I turn 30 in September too. I feel the same way sometimes. Exact same way. I feel like I haven't done enough, traveled enough, saved enough money, etc. But I have learned sooooo much in my twenties from mistakes I've made, people I've lost, failed jobs and by having my baby boy earlier this year. We still young Brit! You're raising previous healthy, God-fearing children and that's most important.
Britt I think you're right... I've really been thinking about social media and how I should take a step back. I'm on it so much, and I feel like stepping away would help me dive into new things.

I had a crisis/life change moment when I turned 30. You're not alone! And now that I am approaching 40, there's another. I try to think of it as a gut check. Am I living the life I want? Have I accomplished what I wanted to by this age? Things of that nature. Keep us posted about things!

I turn 30 in September too. I feel the same way sometimes. Exact same way. I feel like I haven't done enough, traveled enough, saved enough money, etc. But I have learned sooooo much in my twenties from mistakes I've made, people I've lost, failed jobs and by having my baby boy earlier this year. We still young Brit! You're raising previous healthy, God-fearing children and that's most important.
Britt I think you're right... I've really been thinking about social media and how I should take a step back. I'm on it so much, and I feel like stepping away would help me dive into new things.

Maddox face had me cracking up!! Also to touch on social media, I think the concept of it was never to be bad but of course there's always negatives. Although u can't control the brain washing negatively I think it's important to take a break to keep sane :)

I had a crisis/life change moment when I turned 30. You're not alone! And now that I am approaching 40, there's another. I try to think of it as a gut check. Am I living the life I want? Have I accomplished what I wanted to by this age? Things of that nature. Keep us posted about things!
