Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas: Rough Seas, Canceled Events, and Stuck Indoors.

- This cruise on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas was a 4 day sailing out of Galveston, TX to Cozumel. It is day 4, our last and final day of the cruise which is also a sea day and we are sailing back towards Galveston, TX. During this sea day, we experience some really strong winds, rough seas and these weather conditions have prevented us from having a typical day at sea. Many events were to take place outdoors were canceled and we were eventually forced to stay indoors because of the poor weather. The weather was not going to stop us from having fun, so we attended whatever events we could and make the most of our last day on the cruise. That sound was so annoying. Hate that it was so close to us. Guess that's what we get for having an interior. Lol thank you, I tried to skate, but the ship rocking didn't help lol yes lots of laughing and drinking caused him to lose his voice. Nothing but good times on this trip.

Ice skating is exhausting! And I usually only make it one or two laps lol.

Surprisingly I was good the next day. Just worn out from so much partying and staying up super late. Motion of the ocean is a great fit! 🤣 No! I know white noise, and that was no white noise! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hey guys. Trying to be on livestreams and still trying to catch up with like 200 vids while on the Seascape plus new daily ones. Can’t catch up 😂. If the crew doesn’t panic then neither do I. Y’all can ice skate? Amazing. Oh your ship really rocking. Closet doors not staying closed. Hangers are swaying. Awww. Your bro queasy? It’s like that? At least they didn’t cancel the show. Can’t go outside? Must be crammed everywhere inside. Watched this whole series and now realizing there’s 2 tables 🤦♀️😂. Battle of the sexes is hilarious. Thanks for sharing this series. Great company does make a difference.
Oh we understand. We're playing catch up as well and trying to edit vlogs. It'll be a while until we are caught up lol yes they allow ice skating before the nightly ice shows. Yes it was bad. Tons of folk were sick. The ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho had to cancel the rest of their regional meetings because so many women were sick amd passing out. We've never been locked inside a cruise ship. It was a weird experience but not too bad because we are normally inside during the evening hours anyways, but I wanted to go smoke my cigar and couldn't. Battle of the sexes got crazy! We had a great time. Thanks for your continued support. We really appreciate it.

It was rockin' rockin'. I'm really surprised they let people skate. There were plenty of falls. But I slept like a baby though. Lol

Very sketchy. I was like as long as the crew is calm and nobody is talking about going to their muster station, then all is good. Lol you should try it, it's like roller blading except way smoother.

Can't go wrong with cheese grits and a breakfast burrito!! Ice skating sure beats hearing that annoying noise that was going on. None of us have ever been ice skating so we'd definitely spend more time falling down than actually skating lol. That ship was super rocky, i feel sorry for the people on the ship that were a lil tipsy 😂 You came late and they stuck you at the kiddie table ahh man lol
Cheese grits with salt and pepper for the win every time. The burittonwasnt bad either. Yall should try it, it's so much fun. But that isn't isn't forgiving at all. It's very hard. Yea that ship was tossing everyone's guts sideways lol

It does always appear to be that way. Maybe because we are moving faster and feel the waves more than usual. But of course this weather made it alot worse.

@@philanddeetravels It was pretty good I had a good time on it. Then again it was my first dream class ship so I really don’t have anything to compare it to besides carnival imagination. Overall I say it’s a good ship if you don’t like mega ships but it’s not too small either. Guys burger was amazing it was my first time having it. I want to go on it again. If you decide to do it I would love to see a video on it.

I was on the Wonder of the Seas the 1st week of November for a 7 night cruise. It was my 1st cruise. It rocked every night and basically all day but nothing like what you encountered. Nothing was cancelled and we were still outside. It was more annoying than anything especially for a ship that size. That is the main reason I picked it because I suffer from motion sickness. 2 of the nights I couldnt even sleep. I was in the casino all night because it kind of took my mind off of it. I would probably go crazy with weather as bad as you experienced on this cruise.
Oh noooo. So sorry to hear that. Did you try taking anything for it or have any patches or sea bands? We've always wondered if the bigger ships rock more. I guess we'll experience it 1st hand pretty soon. 😜 glad you were able to take your mind off of it temporarily. Winning would definitely take my mind off of it. Losing would probably make me feel worse. Lol I hate that you experienced that for your 1st cruise. Would you be willing to try cruising again?
@@philanddeetravels Yes I took Bonine everyday so I didn’t get sick. It was more annoying than anything and I would be lying if I didn’t say I was worried about getting sick. That did not stop me though. I have odyssey of the seas in March and freedom of the seas in June already booked 😃
@Sportswoman0814 oooohhh odyssey will be nice! And Freedom you say? 👀 we have heard good things about that ship.
@@philanddeetravels yeah Freedom is older but they refurbished it right before Covid it’s a short one only 3 nights. My Odyssey is 6 nights.

I'm half way through the video so maybe you bring it up -- but in case you don't -- you can always go to medical and get an injection for the motion sickness. Then again I'm not sure I want someone trying to jab me with things moving around like that. 🙂 In the last 7th months, I have been on Harmony of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas. I will say this. You don't want to be on anything but an Oasis class ship if things start to get canceled. Freedom of the Seas was extremely boring. There was so little to do on board when they canceled our visit to Perfect Day. To add insult to injury, they completely clog up the main promenade so you cannot get around. It made the cruise an overall bad experience. If you are going to sail with Royal, do the Oasis class. My next cruise is going to be on the Discovery Princess. Going to Alaska.
Oh snap! We never knew about the injection. We will keep that in mind. And you're right. We did the harmony in 2019, our day in coco cay got washed out by weather, but there was plenty to still do on the ship. Going back soon on a smaller royal ship, but praying for great weather. Is this your 1st time on princess? If not, how did you like it?
