Just want to share that I made this nasi goreng when this video first released (around 5 years ago) and I was a final year student then. Revisiting this video cause I’m making it again later today. I’m now working, living in a different state from home, so this nasi goreng just takes me back. It’s amazing how food can be so nostalagic. Thank you for the recipe, so yummy and comforting😊

I made it! And it hella delicious!
I was sceptical at first cuz... egg? fried the sardine?? But then again I have all the ingredients.. the exact ingredients in kitchen. Including that brand sweet soy sauce. (I had no idea my mom bought that soy sauce). I used Meggi Ketchup.. acceptable.
This is my first Nasi Goreng sardine I made that is actually successful. The last time I cooked Nasi Goreng sardine was 2 years ago.. failed.

I find sardine (especially ayam brand's) is more expensive than a quarter of chicken in malaysia. So economically, i prefer to cook nasi goreng with ayam chuncks instead of nasi goreng sardin 😁
