Hay Catholic mum life I was wondering I am having a problem I know two languages my mother language and English most of my life I spoke English at school and my mother language at home after I became a Catholic I prayed in English then I came to my country and I started praying in my language but I don't understand most of the meanings in my language so do you think I should pray in English or the language that l don't understand
Oh and about praying with your husband, we do our rosaries separately too, and family prayers at night, but we started doing the Memorare as we lay down to go to sleep. Just adding one prayer as a couple is a great baby step
@@catholic_teen_life8785 pray in the language you're comfortable with. Meanwhile your vocabulary will grow in your mother tongue if you're in that country. I have prayed literally in spanglish, and half Latin/English as well. Whatever language spoken, believe me, Our Lord understands. ❤
@@catholic_teen_life8785 try printing out prayers in both English and your mother tongue, so you can compare them. It will help you learn how to say them in your first language. How beautiful! May God bless you. He knows the intentions of your heart regardless of what language you choose.
My hubby and I are coming into the Catholic church through an amazing Latin Mass this Christmas near us. It’s such a blessing! We both grew up Protestant and your channel was the first Catholic channel I found and started watching. It’s been such a blessing to listen to your videos, thank you so much!

Sounds like you go to an ordinary form Mass, but with Latin language parts as well as ad orientum (priest facing the altar), like following the post-Vatican-II order of the Mass, but with those traditional elements. That's what our parish does as well, and we love it!!
In response to "Do you go to Latin Mass?" Yes! This Sunday will be my 5th Latin Mass! Yes it has such richness, and the Gregorian Chants are heart piercing bliss! It's a little difficult for me but not too much. I'm bi-lingual in Spanish, so the Latin isn't too hard to pick up, but when it comes to singing I definitely struggle. Hi Heather, I have a question what do you do as a Catholic when Jehovah witnesses come to your door? When they came to my door that one time I told him I was a practicing Catholic (which I am) and we just had a back-and-forth about theology funny enough the person who came to my door was an exCatholic
You're right it's very rare you meet someone and it is the right person . That's the way it happened with me I thought it only happens in movies. I only known my wife 3 months she was getting ready to move to the Philippines because ins wanted her to go back to the Philippines within a week we got married we got married in the courthouse. A little later we got married in the Catholic Church then we filed all the paperwork within 5 years she's an American citizen. It's amazing how everything worked out. My brother Tony's going to be a long time before he trusts her he thought she wanted green card my brother what's. Less than a year my brother trust her.
To the high school kids.... I did not go to a Catholic high school which would have helped me I think. So I to easily fell into the worldly things and making fun of people who prayed. Just really fell away. If I could do it over I would have been searching for like minded people instead of giving into the other way. God still loves me but I could have been so much more for Him had I been true to my faith. It is a dark world so hold on to the light inside you . Trust me,it will be worth it. ♥️
That sounds like you’re attending a Paul VI Mass of 1962 before the subsequent changes. Someone can and should correct me on this but if I recall his changes didn’t eliminate Latin completely. It was only later changes that did that.
I'm a returning Catholic now I'm a practicing Catholic. The reason I left the church I did not know what I believed I only called myself Catholic. I've been back to the church 14 months now . The question I have it's about purgatory why is it once you go to confession you've been forgiven your sins because if you've been forgiven why do I have to go to Purgatory if I've already been forgiven.
I wish my wife would stop going back to mass again. And it's my fault that she doesn't go for it. 13 years, I was gone from the church. I was going to other churches but now since i'm back to the church i've been back for 17months
When are things that really has helped me reading the Bible. I went to RUclips listen to father Mike in a year which I recently finished. On my own I cannot read the Bible. Because I don't know how to read and I have to use the microphone to do my spelling. The hardest thing about reading the Bible since I cannot read is all those names and no Testament and the meaning of different things I didn't realize in The Maccabees so much bloodshed I didn't know it was like that.
When I was in high school I was not faithful. I was using drugs and I wish I'd never done that now. I'm age 68 period Period I was always getting in trouble for drugs and smoking. A bad thing I was not careful
Make sure you have your kids in Catholic schools. Because our kids were in public schools and because of that cuss words if you learn from their classmates.they learn what sex means not a good thing that is meant for marriage only
For me it was always a battle around the wrong type of friends and the reason for that I didn't become Catholic I thought I was 22 years old 1979 things are different when you're not Catholic you do not have those principles when you're not Catholic
Someone on your show advice for teens. I mean many mistakes when I was in high school don't do drugs don't smoke don't drink . When I became an adult because of bad choices I will get off work on a Friday night our drink from Friday night Sundown on Saturday can I get cleaned up on Sunday my doctor was telling me you need to stop that because your liver is going bad so I stopped. Another advice don't let a guy talk to you spending the night that's never a good thing. Don't do what you don't want to do. Don't do things cause you to go to jail it'd be hard for you to get a job . Jesus Christ help me get off drugs I asked I hadn't used drugs 40 years. Haven't smoked 53 years. Used to drink too much wine had not had a drink 19 years.
%%%%%%%Crusade Prayer (38) For the Salvation of Catholic Church O Blessed Mother of Salvation, please pray for the Catholic Church in these difficult times and for our beloved Pope Benedict XVI to ease his suffering. We ask You, Mother of Salvation, to cover God's sacred servants with Your Holy Mantle, so that they are given the graces to be strong, loyal and brave during the trials they face. Pray too that they will look after their flock in accordance with the True Teachings of the Catholic Church. O Holy Mother of God, give us, your remnant Church on earth, the gift of leadership, so that we can help lead souls towards the Kingdom of Your Son. We ask you, Mother of Salvation, to keep the deceiver away from the followers of your Son, in their quest to safeguard their souls, so that they are fit to enter the Gates of the New Paradise on Earth. Amen.
Ad orientam. We are witnessing the sacrefice of the lamb for God and thus the consecration should be facing God and not the congregation. Same as was done thousands of years ago.
I was having a lot of anxiety before I got married. Because my dad didn't want me to because my dad was thinking she only wants the green card. She's from the Philippines and my dad was on you incorrect we've been married for 18 years me and my children my wife we went to the Philippines for vacation and I love that vacation I meant her family. And my dad that he was wrong on that my dad loves wife and the kids. And my mom the same way she loves my wife in my kids. So parents need not to judge assume they want the green card that's not always true in this case my parents were wrong. I'm glad I did not listen. We live in Northern California.
I do not expect my wife did you do everything. How did she does the dinner for the kids I make my own dinner so she can have the dinner ready for the kids. After she washes and dries her clothes I fold my own clothes it's much easier for her so she doesn't have to fold everyone's clothes
If anyone feels weird or awkward about doing the Sign of the Cross or Praying before and after meals in public, just do it. Be proud to be Catholic. Proclaim your faith. Don’t be ashamed to show that you belong to God and that you are confident in His love for you and your love for Him. To share my experience, my family and I have always made sure to take the time to pray to God in thanksgiving for the food put before us. Most of the time it’s without ever thinking too much about it. While at a lunch meeting, I apparently shocked the gentleman we were dining and meeting with. He stated that he needed to start doing “that” (praying before meals) and asked if I did it every time. I told him I always did. It was something we did habitually. When we met again some time later, he told me that he had started praying more as well. He told me that seeing me pray was a reminder to him that it was something he should be doing too. All thanks, honor, glory, and praise be to God. Anyways, we are all called to be instruments and witnesses for God. God love and bless you all!!! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
One of the things I'm doing for my wife and proposed Catholic. I've been buying lots of Life Insurance. So my wife of you okay?Once I'm gone that way.She would have extra money after i'm buried
Another suggestion for the teens don't cuss don't talk dirty with the other girls and guys when I was around the other guys we would all talk dirty. Follow all the things about Catholic Church
Okay when I came back to the church I took the classes over again before I didn't know this stuff I did not know that the Eucharist Jesus Christ body and blood. I also didn't know when we go to confession we say bless me Father for I have sinned I thought the priest is the One That Forgives sin how is I was not correct on that we're actually praying to God the Father and the priest is the one that guides us and give us pendants for our sins.
I'm married to a Catholic woman. 2006 we have been married 18 years now. Have twin boys they have been baptized confirmation confirmed.we have daughter 16 years old baptized confirmation confirm . We were married in the Catholic church.
............. Cast all doubts aside Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 @ 23:00 Write this, My daughter. The doubts creeping into your mind are to be expected. Yes, you are being tempted to turn your head, but he, the deceiver, will never win you from Me. My beloved daughter, you are stronger than you think, because very few chosen souls would be able to deal with this great sacred request in the way that you have. It takes courage to deal with the way in which I communicate with you. You did not run away cowering in fear. You knew right from the first that this was a Divine Communication from the highest and Most Holy Hierarchy. You are going to experience extra enlightenment shortly, which will cast all your doubts away. When this happens your mind will open up more to receive these special graces, which must be bestowed to fill you with the courage and determination needed to help bring about this prophecy. Yes, My daughter, much to your astonishment you are the chosen one to fulfil the prophecies contained in the Book of John to prepare mankind for the cleansing, which is to unfold shortly. Once the fear, hesitation and uncertainty leaves you, My beloved daughter, you will rise and complete this very special task, that I ask of you. Now do as I say. You are to recite My Divine Mercy at 3 o’clock, each day, to help save souls. You must continue to recite the Rosary given to the world by My most precious Mother, who is to work with Me to prepare for My Second Coming on this Earth. Many souls are lost to Me now, with more and more being snatched from Me daily by the evil one. They cannot be taken from Me. Please help Me save their poor souls. Cast all doubts aside. Just remember your task. Help open their eyes to enable them to redeem themselves in the Eyes of My Eternal Father. If you can just keep thinking of the final outcome, you will understand why this is important and why it is a calling made from the Pure Love I hold for all My children in My Heart. Think of it like this. The love of a devoted parent knows no bounds. If one child strays and walks the path of doom, the heartbreak and distress caused and felt by the parent is like a sword piercing the heart. Any parent that loves their children will endeavour to fight for them to the end. They never give up - ever. So it is with Me. I will do everything in My Divine Power, without interfering with man’s free will, to turn their hearts back to My Sacred Heart. You, My daughter, will help Me do this. I don’t need to remind you of the need for obedience and complete abandonment to Me. This is the calling for which you have been chosen. Take up your sword now. You have to fight side by side with your Divine Saviour, in one last attempt, to bring about the salvation of all My children, before the Day of Judgement. Go now in peace and love to receive My Body today. Your loving Saviour Jesus Christ

I have to talk to my cousin and explain why we believe what we believe. I explained to my cousin we do not worship Mary we honor Mary. And also told my cousin statues we have we do not worship them now explain to her they are our Saints and I told her just like I have pictures of my family on the wall I do not worship my family just remembering what they have done. I used to go to a Baptist Church the pastor there was saying things are not true about the Catholic Church he said that we believe in working our way to heaven. We're not working our way to heaven because Pastor mentioned the seven sacraments but that's not working the way to heaven because doing those things will be in the state of grace and we can go to Purgatory in the next stop will be heaven. Other religions jump to conclusions. The ones that say things like that do you need to check it out for themself and go to the classes before baptism.

Latin traditionnal mass is such a treasure. 💒💒💒
Hi Heather, I have a question what do you do as a Catholic when Jehovah witnesses come to your door? When they came to my door that one time I told him I was a practicing Catholic (which I am) and we just had a back-and-forth about theology funny enough the person who came to my door was an exCatholic
I pray the rosary after listening to you.Cause I did not know the words because I have a bad memory
The 1962 is completely in Latin in the Tridentine right. I have a 1962 missal I used when I attend at the SSPX chapel nearby
Great video Heather!😃
How to say pray anyway when I'm in a restaurant go ahead Emil prayer
I wish my wife would stop going back to mass again. And it's my fault that she doesn't go for it. 13 years, I was gone from the church. I was going to other churches but now since i'm back to the church i've been back for 17months
When are things that really has helped me reading the Bible. I went to RUclips listen to father Mike in a year which I recently finished. On my own I cannot read the Bible. Because I don't know how to read and I have to use the microphone to do my spelling. The hardest thing about reading the Bible since I cannot read is all those names and no Testament and the meaning of different things I didn't realize in The Maccabees so much bloodshed I didn't know it was like that.
you been talking about going to Catholic School I wish I had that because I wasn't Catholic I did not come from Catholic Family
When I was in high school I was not faithful. I was using drugs and I wish I'd never done that now. I'm age 68 period
Period I was always getting in trouble for drugs and smoking. A bad thing I was not careful
I’m in RCIA, what is a confirmation saint? Never heard of this- sounds very interesting ☺️

Make sure you have your kids in Catholic schools. Because our kids were in public schools and because of that cuss words if you learn from their classmates.they learn what sex means not a good thing that is meant for marriage only
Where did you get the pictures of the mysteries of the Rosary?
When do we get to meet your baby girl?
For me it was always a battle around the wrong type of friends and the reason for that I didn't become Catholic I thought I was 22 years old 1979 things are different when you're not Catholic you do not have those principles when you're not Catholic
Wow, definitely, u r doing two jobs.
Children and home, God bless u.
Thank u, for this video. 🙏❤️👏🌟💫👍✝️
%%%%%%%Crusade Prayer (38) For the Salvation of Catholic Church
O Blessed Mother of Salvation, please pray for the Catholic Church in these difficult times and for our beloved Pope Benedict XVI to ease his suffering.
Hi, I like your videos, please could I make one in Spanish. on apologetics.

Wait I had no idea you had lived on Minnesota!!! What area?
Okay when I came back to the church I took the classes over again before I didn't know this stuff I did not know that the Eucharist Jesus Christ body and blood. I also didn't know when we go to confession we say bless me Father for I have sinned I thought the priest is the One That Forgives sin how is I was not correct on that we're actually praying to God the Father and the priest is the one that guides us and give us pendants for our sins.

Cast all doubts aside
Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 @ 23:00
Write this, My daughter.
Your loving Saviour
Jesus Christ

❤
ad orientem 🙏🏼
I hate cleaning bathrooms...the worst
We should not pray something or someone else than Jesus !
