Another thing-if you want to give more power and torque, check air intake on the bottom. There is plastic pipe with is narrowed. Try to chenge this pipe for other but the same size for all length and make a hole in the bumper to let it breath and give more air to the engine. That should give around 10-15bhp and some torque.

@20ilunga This is different engine. More like 740i but till 96 4.0 V8 with around 280hp. 2001 is 4.4 286, but the best for me is 97 4.4 and around 300hp and this is true. It has bigger throttle body,air flow mass meter and it's very easy to modify !

I guarante it will not be more than 260-270hp. You said conception !! Try to check any car after 15 or more years and then will see !!!
