In 17th century we Japan closed the country but Holland is the only country in Europe which could import and export to Japan. Japanese leaned a lots of things from Holland such as medical and astronomy knowledge. Holland imported Japanese crafts such as lacquerware, porcelain and woodcraft. It is happy for me to know you have Dutch style lacquer crafts like this. Thank you😊 I have visited Rijks museum twice. I’d like to see this next time.
