That's my main gripe with him, he makes note of his regrets concerning his criminal past, but he's so persistent on perpetuating the myth of these guys being honourable and classy.. Such rubbish
This was awesome!!!! Best documentary about the pizza connection out there. Very little has been on this period of time in the Mafia about the Pizza Connection, fantastic! Thank you
Easy there you ham & egger .!! WASP’s don’t cry at funerals and they rarely produce good looking daughters.!! Most won’t get or understand what I’m saying . Go figure .
My husband's family is from Polarno. Great documentary thank you for posting. I grew up with mobsters in Miami Beach Florida! Back in the early to late 60's. Thanks again for posting. I love mobster stuff.
Galante was no joke , what a maniac . I remember back in the 80s A&E had a great special on this Pizza Connection case with interviews with Tommaso Buscetta and a rare insight into the Maxi Trail . Cant even find it anymore . So thanks for this ..Great Footage !
This was a video worthy of an award of some kind! I grew up with a few nephews of the guys from Queens and I heard some sick stories. The craziest part of it all is that even though they were all making insane money, that all lived a modest and low key lifestyle. 😊
Great videos May i suggest some docu ideas that don`t have a lot of coverage 1 The Mob and the origins of the The New York/70`s Times Square porn industry. 2 The Mob, Payola and the Music industry. 3 Sidney Korshak, legendary Mob fixer who negotiated the sitdown between Francis Ford Coppola, and Joe Colombo, during the making of "The Godfather".
My best friends father was a part of this while I was growing up in Brooklyn . He " ran " a couple of pizza places in Jersey near Philadelphia. He stayed home a lot so I think he was a little higher up the food chain , Ah sweet memories of childhood.
The Italians r still the biggest look up the nesdrengada they been around for decades move every product imaginable around the world. They r the most powerful criminal organization and have been for many decades on Italians still r the kings on organized crime just not in north America but threw most of the world with connections threw all the lands
Excellent video that explained it well. Our rural Illinois pizza joint seemed like any other all American pizza place. It was a shock when the place we always went for birthdays and after most high school games was busted. Until now, I never got how this was a New York connected and not thru the Chicago "Outfit".
The Bonanos though the smallest of the NYC 🗽 La cosa Nostra families, were always big into Narcotics, and even had a branch in Canada. They had a big presence in Green point Brooklyn ,and in Neighboring Bushwick Brooklyn where I hail from. In fact, they controlled virtually all organized crime,in all of north Brooklyn and adjacent parts of Queens. In fact, Don Bonano’s driver, and who later became the boss of the family Carmine Galante, was murdered at Joe and Mary’s just blocks from where we lived and grew up as kids.
Shoutout for the music that was used throughput the program. Teena Marie "Square Biz", Greg Kihn " Jeperady, and Donald Byrd " Think twice". Also the last song sound like Everything but the girl or Swingout sister.
Your channel is probably one of the best for us mob history enthusiast, i really like the old footage too. Would love to see about black gangs also controlling cities like Detroit aand there involvement with heroin trade and the Italians
You showed Metropolitan Ave in Middle Village in the opening, not Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I lived down the street for 10 yrs. I bought pastry from Catalano's bakery.
I grew up in Middle Village Queens. Cool seeing old footage of Catalano’s Bakery. Great bread. Directly across the street is Rosa’s pizzeria. Probably on surveillance footage when I was a kid shopping with Mom. Haha
In the 90s in Somerville Ma which is the Boston area, you would see these empty pizza shops and now I see what it was 😂. You would walk in and they would say “we are waiting for the delivery, come back tomorrow “. There would be random Italian dudes just hanging out. They were definitely waiting for a delivery, it wasn’t flour 😂. When they did have food though it was always good!! They used to make that pizza that crunched with every bite and they made their own tomato sauce!! I miss those slices man, after we left the pool. We would be starving and the pizza shop was on the way home. You would be drooling just off the smell! Idk why but swimming just makes you so hungry! Especially at the beach!
My father went to elementary school with Baldamenti. My father was born in the sister city of Cinisi where Baldamentei lived. Terrasini is where my father was born and the city that boarders it is Cinisi and it’s considered really the same town.
Unfortunately I had to mute the intro due to a sudden copyright issue. Thank you for understanding 👍
and that solved heroin in America.
Thanks for explaining
Michael Franzese: “We didn’t sell drugs. We weren’t involved in that.”
This video:

its much worse than that. they were working with the government to fund the cia black ops .ruclips.net/video/G7PIZYi6k6A/видео.htmlsi=bWQ3--W32ivFgtTJ
I believe he didn’t sell drugs,he had too much going on and didn’t need the heat, but to say,”WE” unquote, didn’t sell drugs is rich.

I find the narrator of these programs so satisfying to listen to, I just can't get enough of him.
It's not a A.I voice it would struggle
With the pronunciation of Italian last names
Your videos keep getting better and better, keep it up!
I would love to see a video about the luchesse family or about prohibition
Incredible work!! One of the best mafia with chronological order and name and photo identification!!! Loved every minute

Heroin? I thought it was garlic! No wonder I felt funny after I ate that pizza.
You just thought that tomato pie was that euphoric huh
Rudy, rudy, rudy. Went from busting criminals to representing them. Badly. The booze got to ya, Rudy.

Then after in October of 87, they handed down new indictments for the Pizza 2 case because they didn't actually get everyone

As a criminal I can confirm crime does in fact "pay in mad ways"
It’s fun too

Life in prison was honestly too good for a monster like Rina. Once again you knocked it out of the park man 👍
Well done. I would make a small change of the sound effect of a jet plane taking off from a propeller plane to an actual jet engine sound

I lived down the street from there for 10 yrs. I bought Italian pastry from Catalano's bakery. I was very surprised when the story came out.
I wish I could get a %10 acrylic shirt everytime I bought a pizza
You guys make fantastic videos
What's the song that was at the beginning of the video before you had to cut it out?
The Sadness Theme from Stridulum
Open Scene is Middle Village, Not green point
Correct
Music is top notch!

It's like the pizza those days there's 75 cents. How could you go wrong? That was the best days
Man this narrator, is so very thorough. Very informative, and very well written and said. May God bless everyone 🇮🇱✝️🇺🇸!
Can you do more of the clans in Sicily? They aren't well know like their American cousins...Thank you, love your videos.
They put heroin and cocaine in the flour for making dough at pizza places, which is why pizza is addictive.
FBI : forever bother italians
Don't try this at home...
How are you not gonna show the picture of Carmine Galante’s murder pic..? It’s infamous
RUclips's ad suitability system would disagree 🤣
Netflix quality ❤🎉 Kudos
Damn this one was extra good
Banging tune at the end. LTJ Bukem isn't it?
Anybody know what any of the songs are playing in the this?
Peace was only 75 cents those days. Those are the good days when seventy five cents for a slice of people pizza
But wasn't 75cents back then the equivalent of around 5 bucks today? Nothing has changed
The amount of money they made for pushing H is unbelievable. These people got rich quick!
Did any of the guys who got convicted ever see the light of day?
He got all that surgery of face n vocal chords n still got caught.
