i get it.. the middle draws off the middle blocker.. and he’s a good blocker.. i believe that’s what his role was.., but either the setter doesn’t have confidence or saving his hits for a game changer bounce.. i didn’t see any bounces in the game… to open up the outsides.. that’s what’s wrong with midwest teams at the moment.. Cali teams if you don’t block that middle guy it’s a bounce… watch the Cali team Maximum Effort.. their middles are short but they bounce.. even with blockers.
