Like all your videos also this check list is very, very useful, thanks a lot!
As soon as I am there, in additon I will explore the options to use bitcoin and crypto currencies (maybe the only thing you didn't cover in your check list, and which of course is not the priority for most other expats I guess).

The Philippines does indeed offer certain conveniences for Westerners considering settling in. With English widely spoken and a culture that incorporates many Western elements, foreigners might find it relatively easy to navigate daily life. The lower cost of living compared to many Western countries is also appealing.

Im a patriot but the US has really gone downhill in terms of affordability. Sad to see and sad to see the future generations shrink because no one can afford to have kids. Excited to retire in thr PH for sure

Take note guys these people are not moving here because they like the country. They move here because they are struggling in the US.
    Let that sink in first.

Jersey is cheap compared to here in Southern California! Average house is like $800k. Gas is about $4.40+ a gallon. Minimum wage for fast food workers was just raised to $20 an hour! No joke. Look it up. If you’re not already surviving in California I don’t recommend moving here. When I jump off this marry go round in about 4 years I’m headed for either the Philippines or Thailand for sure. It’ll only be about 1/3 the cost for a much better life.

I can understand when people are moving to the Philippines coz they’re retiring and it’s hard for them to catch up with the bills with just the social security or other retirement benefits. But moving to the Philippines without any work and just rely on RUclips is the dumbest decision you can make. There’s so much opportunity here in the US, get a degree or skills first while you’re young. Don’t be thinking about retirement when you don’t even have a work or any assets of any kind.

Yes, having a job in the US is like digging your own grave. Stress!!!!!!!!!!

They have the skills, passion and more importantly they have each other. They’ll figure it out. For many…getting a degree is the dumbest thing you can do. Sometimes you just gotta follow your heart and take that leap. I was able to retire at the age of 35 because I did exactly what these two did. They found the courage to think outside the box. I’m rooting for them.
