Good morning! I'm a new subscriber from Boston, USA! I just found your channel and enjoy your style and the topics you cover! Thank you for presenting your beautiful country in such an elegant way!❤❤❤
I LOVE your videos! It feels like I'm just hanging out with a friend and local. I was going to binge them but found out you only have 14! Keep making them! Going to Japan soon so I'm using your videos as inspiration!
In the US I get judged for eating alone. Even in thai and Chinese restaurants. The US culture assumes you're just a lonely person or got stood up. Sometimes eating doesn't need to be social and you can be happy with yourself :) people should accommodate to that. So glad Japan isn't judgemental about that.
Hi Kosuke-san and thanks for another video! In Sweden it is not common for people to eat or do activities alone. I think it is because you come off as a weirdo if you are going to a resturant by yourself. I think that is sad. Even if I have friends and family, I enjoy having a meal by myself. Anyway, thank you for the video. Me and my wife really enjoy watching as we are planning a big trip to Japan in the future. Have a good one!
I love how Japan is at ease with singlehood, whereas the rest of the world pushes the idea of needing to have a partner to be happy. I need to move to Japan. 😆
Hi Kosuke, I have been to Yakniku Likes in japan and here in our country the Philippines they have branches as well. I noticed the sauces are different. May I ask which sauces the Japanese prefer or what is the traditional way of using the spices avaialble on your table?
In Japan, main sauces are shoyu-base and miso-base. Garlic and lemon juice are nice to have. I didn’t know there’s already a Yakiniku Like in the Philippines. Thank you for letting me know 😁
Japanese people want solo time. Foreign media always report that too negatively. We’ve got the idea of enjoying ourselves. We look lonely for you, that’s totally fine👍
Since Japan is experiencing higher levels of loneliness, depression and dropping birth rates, I’m not so sure their introverted culture is helpful in the long term.
I’m american and need my alone time. Your channel is engrossing and enjoyable. Makes me want to visit Japan.
I love your channel. Love learning about Japanese food and culture. 🙂
That’s the first. Thank you for your comment!
Another great video! I think we need a video of gym and workout culture in Japan because Kosuke, you looking buff 💪🏼
in the netherlands they finally also got solo karaoke rooms, it's very interesting in japan! thankyou for learning something new :)
Thanks for telling me 😉
Private karaoke rooms should be introduced to more countries. People want to practice before singing in front of people.
We Finns eat alone alot of times... after a few drinks we get more friends. After alot of drinks everyone is a friend. :D
I love this channel. I feel immersed in your experiences as if I were there in Japan myself.
Happy to see you again, Kosuke! I always find your content fascinating and deeply insightful about your culture. Keep up the great work!👏
I love that I found this channel, it’s fantastic. I am visiting Japan in March 2025 and I cannot wait!
I love your channel! I've learned so much from you, thank you!
Thanks. I have more to share with you! 🇯🇵

I like the possibility to eat, and enjoy yourself alone... Thats not the case in Norway most of the time. I really love your channel!
Thanks for your comment. Knowing different cultures expands our possibility.

Your upcoming trip to Japan will be amazing 👍
nice watch
I love the info about BBQ. The same for southern United States. BBQ means a gathering.

I think Japan is an easy country for solo travelers. Come to visit Japan before you move✈️✌️
Excellent vid, one of your best! +1

Sir, Good that you belong to the clean bowl club, no wasting food! Though I wonder, why not chew your food? Helps with better digestion, etc.
Kosuke-san, Do you train in a gym or is your physique from other activities
No problem eating alone in NYC. you need to get a little lower and step into the swing.
Japan is highly advanced -
When societies accept the solo person such as Japan it removes loneliness/ social anxiety.
would you do a halal foods (no alcohol & no pork) video in japan please ?😁🥰
What if suddenly you wanna stop playing, will the ball continue or how?
The machine stops by itself after it throws 15 balls
It is more possible in Japan than anywhere else in the world, tho
Long time.
Long time no see always 😥
@@kosuke_shows_japan Yea it has been a while. How are you?
Thank you for caring me. I’m good!
@@kosuke_shows_japan Anytime👍
Isn't there a Japanese loneliness epidemic?
