Up until about a year ago I did all my reloading on a Lyman Orange Crusher for over 35 years, Lyman makes great products and I have never been disappointed with anything I've used made by them. Look forward to the live streams on the press.
Well I just ordered mine this morning and will have it tomorrow ... this should help speed up my 9mm & 45acp production 😉 ... it was time to take the next step in my reloading journey from single stage press to turret press😁👍 thanks Highboy looking forward to this series 👍👊
I'm excited about this content! With your reloading experience it'll be interesting what workarounds you come up with. Especially the on-machine priming.
Love mine but the on press priming is awful (I wasn’t planning to do that anyways), I replaced it with plastic 3D part that allows spent primers to go into plastic tubing, it is fantastic at decapping now.
Looking forward to your series Highboy. I was in the market for a turret press and after much research and reviews comparing it to the T7 I couldn't find enough difference to justify the nearly $200 more for the Redding. Don't get me wrong, if money were no option I'd buy the T7, but I had the opportunity to pick up the Lyman on sale for less the $200 and jumped on it. It's a solid press and perfectly capable of handling exactly what I wanted to accomplish. My only con is the priming system, but never been a big fan of priming on press other them on my Dillon. All my bang bang ammo is primed on my 650 and precision rifle I hand prime. Can't wait for your breakdown of the press
I like that it comes with the tube priming system. Sad that American companies have such a hard time with foreign competition. I went to the store to replace an old pair of wire cutters and compared the price with American made and made in china stuff and the American made were $38 compared to the others that were $10-15. I left thinking maybe l can just sharpen the old ones🤣
I don't trim pistol brass. On 9mm and 45 auto I don't pay too much attention to length. On mtuff like 44 mag, 45 LC and etc. I seperate by length and then decap and re-prime. Really good question. Highboy
Nope! No way! Thats my press and I earned it. People judge me but, for the most part, everything you see on my channel was bought with my money. I have never taken a cent from a company. My channel is here to help others learn how to reload and I have so many friends on RUclips. I don't care what others reload with but I do care about being honest with my customers. My home is paid off and I have my own job. I make my own money. Lastly, I don't do product reviews. I just share what I use and like... that's all. Have a good day Scott. Highboy
I subscribed because of your reasoning to go with Lyman with them being an American company and making payroll
Thank you, T ste, I hope to get to know you. Highboy

Thanks for the info... I just purchased the ultimate reloading kit from Lyman with this press... very excited to get into this hobby
Very nice work of art. Great video
It is a real heavy and well made press. I enjoy using mine.

Blue presses and Orange Presses?...A true Boise State fan-!
Yes Sir and it looks so good. Maybe I ought to get a 2nd AA8 and put them in between the Dillons. Dang... that would look GUUD!!! Highboy

Can’t wait

My gf bought me this press as a gift. Haven’t set it up or used it yet, but looks and feels really solid.
Very cool, i like mine as well.

I am considering buying the AA press. But I have a lot of LEE dies. Will the AA press work with my LEE dies? Thank you and a really great video
Jimmy I still love my Redding TR7! Is like you said if their was only one press to have it be my Redding.
I like that weight standard, comparing in an M1
I have a question. If you are sizing and depriming and re priming at the same time when are you trimming your brass. Thanks

each on of my 30/06 cases are getting stuck when depriming, i dont know what im doing wrong
Eight minutes into a sixteen minute video, and the box is not open yet. Oh the suspense.
Lol... I know brother. It's a killer. Highboy
Yeah, the editorial op ed and disclaimers went on so long, I didn't stick around for the actual press content.
I have lost my way with reloading since I have seen primers or powder in over a year 😥
How do you compare this press to the T7?
Orange man cometh lol
