I know that time is not standing still and we all have to move forward. But I miss these times and this good music, too...!

You mean this one video that was culled from the thousands of terrible bands and concerts that existed at the same time? Maybe you need to spend more time looking for that needle in a haystack in the current music to find the video that we'll still be watching in 30 years.

This looks to have been a fantastic show. For the first half of my love affair with The Police it was Stingo all the way, but now I’m older and discerning Stewart, fucking Stewart Copeland is the star ⭐️ of my show. Sooo freakin gooood❤

Hard to believe these three guys were about to be one of the, if not *the* biggest live act, and one of the three biggest selling acts of the 80s. don't take my word for it, look it up for yourself. I was genuinely shocked to find that by the time of Synchronicity, they were creating mania not seen since Beatlemania. I was (and still am) huge Police fan, but I would never have guessed they were that big. I recall the hysteria and insanity at the time, but not having been around for Beatlemania, didn't have a frame of reference.

I kind of liked the horn section on certain songs. I wouldn’t want them as a permanent fixture in the live set but one tour was a nice. I saw this tour in 1981 (Cleveland with The Gi-Go’s) and on the later USA leg in 1982 (Pittsburgh with Bow Wow Wow).
