I am going to tell you a simple trick may be you know already Use of for: for 2 minutes, for 2 hours, for 2 days, for 2 weeks, for 2 months, for 2 years, for 2 centuries, for a long time, for ever Use of since: since morning, since 2 AM or PM, Since Tuesday, Since February, Since 2002, Since 20th century, since I left school, since the beginning of time... It means for is used with a period of time And Since is used to refer a specific point in time. So now I think it is simple to understand for each one of us..
Kaafi safaai sey padhaya gaya hai. 5:09, 7:24, 7:40 mein duration ke saath 'since' ka prayog kiya gaya hai. Vahaan 'for' hona chahiye. For the duration, use 'for', and for specific time in the past, use 'since'. E.g. I have been waiting for her since morning. I have been waiting for her for two hours. Muzhe ye lagta hai ki generally had been jab istemaal hota hai tab pahali activity past mein shuru hoke past mein khatm hoti hai lekin ooski jaankaari koi doosri activity ke start hone sey behatar Pata chalti hai. E.g. I had been waiting for her before the rain started. Aisey sentence sey ye clearly Pata chal jata hai ki pahali activity past mein shuru hui aur past mein khatm hui. Jo bhi ho. Ye mere kuchh points hain. Baaki video to badhiya laga. Bahut Sahajata aur safaai sey padhaya hai. Keep up the good work, Meera.
I prefer to suggest your channel to all my friends who are struggling to be a fluent English speaker. Your teaching style very impressive and effective.
Nice video, I like teaching concept . That is very easy to remember- have been, has been and had been . Actually I’m facing tense problems while talking in English . Because tense will more reflect with opposite person .
Thank you so much mam for clearing our doubts. Could you please help me to understand the difference b/w the below 2 statements? i) Have you been practising English? ii) Are you practising English?
Maybe there's nothing such difference which makes them different apart ! English is the only subject which can be written into more than one form it's distinct ryt. So both have the same meaning it's just different ways to write the same sentence or phrase
I couldn't understand this concept of have been has been and had been. But you teach very easily and finally I learnt. Thank u so much mam your voice is so much polite and attractive and calm.
I saw your clip through RUclips region of middle east country. It is quit good in order to learn English with grammar but I believe tenses keeps changing sentence formation depends upon accrediated benchmark / standards. Pls make sure to provide accord references while teaching or training on profound scale.
I had been waiting for my friend for 2 hours at airport but his flight was late 🙂 Mam I donot have words to say thanx ..... please make more videos on tenses
We use present perfect tense when work has completed recent like he has eaten a mango . Present perfect continuous the work which is now continuing like ram has been reading since morning means he is still reading . In perfect tense he has eaten a mango means no mango is left he already eaten it Bro I am not fluent in speaking English but my grammar is good
@@abhishekpandey7922 ok thanks bro. I have wide range of vocabulary but I have problem in tense and sentence framework while writing an essay of IELTS.
Yess, You got the point when we have quantity of period we use "for".... when we talk about specific date , month, year, century and events in this case we use "since".
@@shrutikakkar8947 yeah right ! You know what perfect continues tense main since for use hoga without since for ke sentences incorrect hai. Mam has a lot of mistaken .she is used has been have been making sentence without since for .
I have been sleeping is an incomplete sentence it should be I have been sleeping since evening ( Mai sham se so rha hu) I am sleeping ( Mai so rha hu) I was sleeping ( Mai so rha tha)

Can you explain following -
This has been taken care.
The work has been completed.
without showing for and since sentence is not completed.
The "has been" used here because " has " is used with the singular subject
