i recall seeing this concert. i was all the way up at the back/top of the amphitheater in the left corner. the seats were horrendous and uncomfortable, but the view and sound were still sublime. if i recall correctly, Maynard did the entire show wearing nothing but a speedo. his wireless mic gear was clipped to the back and his crack was showing half the time, lol. great show.
This was my first and only Tool show but I remember it being very trippy. Not what I was expecting Tool to be like but I loved it. Wish I still had the tour shirt I bought with the 2 heads on it.
actually this song is Maynard from CAD, children of anachronistic dinasty. They used in tool. Is one of the only maynard songs, all the others are tool songs but not this.
I first heard them while stoned out of my tree in the back seat of a friend's car and said... "These guys listened to a LOT of King Crimson when they were kids." and it turned out to be an absolute truth

I didn't even thought this existed. How did I miss it?
Epic
Brilliant!

Heretical Heredity! Love it. It's like father and son.
Why should we always be present?
Why can we not be sober no starting over.
FIRST TIME I HEARD TOOL I THOUGHT KING CRIMSON.

Many Tool songs have that Crimson sound. Adam Jones was very influenced by Robert Fripp. Their tune beginning of 7emptest is similar to Frame by Frame
This is non King Crimson in any way. Just mimics some soundscapes.
That was Robert Fripp. Crimson was supporting Tool this tour.
Was ol Bobby on the guitar soundscaping it up
