In my village they had this great idea to put Amber lights all over the place. At night it was like you were in an old movie. When they changed them 10 years ago it was my first time seeing the village with colors at night. I am still trying to reconstruct my old memories with the new colors.

I loved this i am a color matcher for a wallcovering company and we have to deal with this stuff everyday...we have to make sure that the color looks good in whatever lighting the customer is going to have.
In the 80s and 90s I worked for a major photofinishing lab. I not only learned, but taught color theory. There is no color in the world, it is only perceived by your brain ( hence color blindness). Sun light is primarily R, G and B (a little more but they don't count much in color perception). Putting equal acetate R, G, B filters in front of a white light projector you will get white. Due to an objects molecular structure, ie. a red apple, G + B will be absorbed and R will reflect back to color receptors in you eyes so your brain tells you it is red. It's a little more complicated than that, but that is the basics and how we made color photos from the film you took into the store. Loved the video! thanks.

I worked in color correction with CMYK laser printers for several years and I know first hand how important the ambient color temperature is when looking at precise color settings, because the brain really, really wants everything to be normalized into "expected" colors and you will actually "see" the colors the brain is expecting, regardless of what the measuring instruments say. It's a hoot!
